As originally promised, the Platinum Breeding Coin is now on sale.
It is 85 GP in the Cash Shop. It will be available for two weeks, once a year, always the two weeks before Christmas (so it will leave the shop on December 26th).
Recall that this coin will allow one of our SCC artists to design a custom drawn, SCC "Pet" offspring based off the parents of the breeding. Regardless of what you breed together you will still get a "Pet."
Addons cannot be used with this item. You will be given a list of available SCC artists and asked to select three. Your artist will be selected at random from the three you pick. Your artist will send you the PSD to your new silver custom. You can submit a new custom from the PSD with a Silver Custom Crystal to establish a new silver species.
In the next few days or a week, we will be adding some more items (both new and old) to the Cash Shop and BP Shop for the holiday season. :) They are pretty cool so look out for 'em.

Maybe only site genus can be used? Like custom vyne x custom maki and you get a custom pet so no one needs to worry? Anyone used their coin yet??

But there are SCCs which have site genus too. And I think if you own the SCC's or got the okay it's fine. Some are already used ^^ Maybe the easiest way would that everyone who wants to breed SCC's just ask the owner of the species and species owners put something into their rules.

The site overall owns all SCC species. Therefore Slash can do whatever with them as he pleases. Including allowing this to happen.

so are the SCC artists going to use the lines of parents or draw the offspring from scratch in different pose limbs/head (based off the parents but mixed if they are different)?

@Hiiro: you can't breed any pet to another with permission from both owners, so I don't expect that to be a problem? xD People who want their SCCs rare will probably add to their rules, "no platinum breedings", or "none without prior discussion."
What really excites me about this coin is, what if you bred two of the same genus? You'd essentially get your own alt lineart, wouldn't you? o:
And I was wondering the same as Fairy - will we get a squiz at the new/expanded/specialized SCC team? :>

Awesome sounding coin! Now what if people breed like two "official" scc species (madw by other users)? It sounds a bit wary if people can make their "own" scc species based off bred lines of another user's scc species.
