Ara Release
After some deliberation, we have been considering having Scavenger Hunt be only in July, with 10-man teams and 150 tasks. In addition, we have been considering releasing the first Ara region in January, and release a new region in Ara every month after.
What do you think? Should we postpone Scav and start releasing Ara starting NEW YEARS???
Ara has nine regions, and if you do want Ara to start being released starting New Years, how about picking which region you want to see released first?
But no hints...you only get the codename!!!
Okay, it looks like you guys are going for the Enchanted Woods first... click on the explore area to go to the submission thread!!!

Auuugh, I can't wait!! Especially for the pets that will be in this area, I bet they'll be so pretty! X3 Although admittedly I will miss having a giant scav.

I like 1 hunt per year and 10 persons. I am happy with my 9 peeps. The big hunt almost killed me. I love to know Ara is being released. :) That's very awesome news indeed!

If people need more in a team, I suggest a 12man team? That won't push too much and also no need increase amount of tasks. :) If 15, Admin will have to add tasks... XD

Uhhh... you should have left this open for longer. I do support one scav hunt a year, but you should try to be fair to more of the user base by leaving this open for discussion for about a day instead of just a couple hours. I don't even know what other regions were (even if it was just code names)!

Hamner: It was basically just a list of the main images shown on the large map. (Mushroom, Enchanted Woods, etc) Most people voted for eithe Mushrooms or Enchanted Woods, and the latter was ahead by way more than half.

To me, scav has always been one of the few things that really anchors me to this site. It's how I met all of my friends here (at least the ones I didn't know irl before Aywas)... it's the thing that motivates me to upkeep my pet collection... and it's something I look forward to for months and months.
But... that's probably the response you'd expect from someone with an orange name. XD
With that said, I'd love for scav to be fun for everyone. I know that this last scav was a TON of work for staff. Maybe it was just me, but it felt like staff enjoyed the January mini scav, but the most recent July scav seemed like a chore. If an extra 6 months is what it takes to recuperate so that staff can enjoy scav just as much as we do, then I'd rather we take those extra 6 months so that scav can be that much more fun.
In short.... yes, I'd prefer have a January scav, but I'm willing to wait if that's what it takes for staff to be excited for it.
