Cancer Awareness Charity Drive
brought to you by Chunkio (#5800)

collectable_breastcancerribbon.gif

In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in conjunction with Chunkio's event choice, Aywas is hosting a charity donation drive to support cancer research, treatment and recognition, as well as the people it affects--both patients and families alike.

I would personally like to thank everyone ahead of time for any donations made during this event. I know how devastating this disease can be and the damage it can leave in its wake. My heart goes out to anyone who is fighting a battle against it and may all the strength in the world be by their side. It also goes out to their family members and loved ones who are left with its lasting effects. I hope this small contribution goes towards a brighter future for a cure to this horrible disease. -- Chunkio

Tell Your Story
We want to take a moment to invite you to share your story with us. <3 The thread will be permanently located in General Chat and we are eager to hear what you have to say, so, if you're willing, we'd love to hear from you.

Want to know how you can help this cause? Great! We have lots of ways for you to participate in this event, so let me tell you about them!

Direct Cancer Charity Donations

Tier 1 - Donate $10+ to a reputable cancer charity of your choice and receive a Cancer Drylis and Cancer Reve.
Tier 2 - Donate $20+ to a reputable cancer charity of your choice and receive a Cancer Suune.
Tier 3 - Donate $30+ to a reputable cancer charity of your choice and receive a Cancer Velox.

These tiers stack, so that means if you donate $30 or more to a cancer charity, you will receive not only the Velox, but the Suune, Drylis and Reve as well! All four pets are a "special" rarity, which means they cannot be obtained through the Phoenix Tree or Rogue Zaps; you must donate to receive them.

Custom Auctions for Charity
We are also putting the following five customs up for auction! All bids must be made in USD and the full amount of the highest bid must be donated to a cancer charity (winner's choice). Click on the pet you're interested in to be taken to its auction thread! The deadline to place a bid is Thursday October 20th at 11:59 PM Aywas time.

In the spirit of support and giving, Chunkio has also requested that we open up a free custom thread!
You may submit a Metal/Bronze/Blue compatible custom (Ay or Ara) for either yourself OR a friend that somehow represents the theme of this event by using ribbons or embodying one of the emblems from a chart like this.

.. Okay, phew! I think that about does it.
We hope that the event touches you and look forward to the drive being a success so that we can make a difference together. Thanks for your support!

Our school does a big fundraising event for The National Breast Cancer Foundation, So far I have donated $11, $10 for a card that has my friends name on it who passed away(the card sits on the side of our track field on our run for a cure night) and $1 for a pink ribbon to wear. Would this donation count at all, even though it was done through my school and not the website directly?

For those of you wanting to donate to a charity in your country with a currency that's not USD: You can! Just make sure it's the equivalent of the USD amount. :3 - Eri
