Good evening, folks!
I have an important, short and sweet announcement that I want everyone to read carefully. As of today, Slash is taking a well-deserved hiatus from the site for an undetermined amount of time (hey, running Aywas for twenty-four hours, seven days a week for over two years has to earn you a little vacation time, right?). He is not disappearing or leaving and we will continue to be in contact through the duration of his hiatus. Similarly, he will still be handling payments, Melo Figurines, and other goodies in the background.
In the meantime, I will be running things for him--yes, that means I have access to coders, artists, etc.--and will be using my staff to its full potential in order to keep things running as smoothly as possible. There really won't be any noticeable day-to-day change and I'm always a message away if you have a question or concern!
Lastly, remember to please be mindful and respectful. I understand that this will be a bit jarring, but I won't tolerate abrasive comments.
*rubs hands together* Now, let's see what we can get done! I've got a lot of fixes planned for Yasu's to-do list, so
I'll see how much torture he can take. Rebel hasn't been in contact with us recently, but we're hoping it will be soon since I have plenty for him to tackle as well.

Slash, love, enjoy your well-earned (semi) downtime - we're in good hands with Eri and Co, and will be fine (we'll miss you though - send postcards!) .
Eri, thank you for stepping up to the plate - this placce can be a handful, i'm sure, and if there's anything memebrship can do to make your life and job easier, sing out.

Eri: any progress fixing the Battledome/Explore areas? I'd just gotten a taste of the new setup when it went down, and am itching to get back into it.
