In order to select a target, you need to click on the health bar of the target. :3
But I agree. @__@ This takes waaaaaaaay too many clicks to kill just one spider.

The reset doesn't appear to have anything to do with Explore. It just sets your pet up for Battledome. So in Explore it'll still be level 300 (or whatever level your pet is, I pulled one out of a hat), but in Battledome it'll be one. It's like having two versions of your pet almost.
That being said, I can't manage to get my pet to be able to select an attack target. It'll do everything else, but it won't select the darn spider as the thing to attack; the option doesn't even show up. This should probably be looked into... (Using Firefox, just so you know.)

I am completely confused, have no clue what I am supposed to be doing and I am not too excited....I wish things were explained more! It takes me so long to figure out what I am supposed to do! Hopefully someone will put up a nice how to so I know what I am doing soon! I am sure I will like it once I understand it!

To attack You have to click the name of the spider up top.
