The new battle system has a lot of potential, but like others have already said, it's super laggy at the moment which makes it painfully difficult to use. I also think the AU thing needs to go or be reworked because i'm finding it cumbersome to work with when I keep having to buy potions every five seconds to fill it back up. Also hope that the tranqs will soon be implemented back into the system.

What is the point of these keys? I've heard that there were a few chests on the main page to open them with, but they're gone. Will the chests regenerate, or are they all gone? I'm not sure what to do. :/

I finally beat one, with the help from my cousin! And I have a key now, though it seems to be useless! But it was nice to finally beat a monster in explore! I am running out of energy books, and it does not seem like the energy replenishes like it does in explore, which means we will be using a lot more food for it, but I guess that will keep the values up, so I am ok with that! I am still very confused, I can not use nets, have no idea how to use a tranq dart, and feel like its only about half working! The lag is driving me crazy, but I am thankful to have finally beaten a darned monster! lol
Semper, If you find an answer to your question about the chests, please feel free to give me a hollar! I am wanting to know too! I do wish there was a little more information when new stuff comes out! I hate trying to figure it all out!
And the battle system does have some cool features, though it still does seem very confusing, I am hoping that it is all cleared up and that the lag will clear out, but it reminds me of the slots game, glitches out and its not on real time, which I dont like, but I suppose it will be something I can get used to! I am grateful for the new feature, just very frustrated by the lack of information or explanation of how to use it!

Also, I seem to be lucky, because everything's working just fine for me. My only problem is that I'm beginning to run out of pet slots, but the actions in the battledome don't lag at all. Only the rest of the site.

Gah! I HATE this darned battledome O.o Its so confusing.... well hate rally isnt the right word, more like dissapointment. I don't like how you have to do so much just to fight a pet, where in explore, it was like 1 click and your done. And the fact that you have to reset your pet is irritating... OHH! And I dont really know whats up with all of these treasure chests because theyre all taken and Im so confused...

I have mixed feelings about this. There is obviously confusion as to the source of the lag... try considering the image heavy popup screens? How many clicks during a battle poll the server for information? Why do we need to click through each step of the battle results if they are already client-side? A simple listing would suffice, such as with the explore feature previously. I see pre-emptive support for multiple attackers in the design, which is good thinking, but the way it is now there are too many unnecessary click-through steps added to each battle that make it too tedious. Wrapping the skill and target selection steps into one server request per attack would significantly reduce the amount of server requests per battle, resulting in less lag.
