Hello, folks - Absolem (#873) wished to have an Ice Cream event created, and naturally running it defaulted to me, given I'm the one who conducts most food related business... with the exception of Zave, of course.
Icecream Sundae Potion
I am teaching students to make Icecream Sundae Potions in Gourmet Cooking from now until 8/1/2011. The potion will change your pet into one of the following event pets:
To be able to make an Icecream Sundae Potion, you'll have to get a couple of special ingredients:
If you'd like to earn some of these, feel free to drop by and quest for me here. Granted, I don't have that many on hand (they are special, after all... expensive importation costs), so I'll only be able to give you twenty quests a day.
Make the best of them - and trade any extra ingredients you have with other people. That will help you get more potions!

all of these designs would've been epically amazing if the rogr's and bumble's cone patterns followed the curve a little better instead of flattening out (like using the same screen tone for an entire circle makes a circle, not a sphere knowaddaimean?)
but i am usually SO PICKY about designs and i am [nearly] madly in love with all of them. i usually disliked lunaris, insi, rogr, and to an extent, oske, but this time around they are winners! i think most of them are very smartly designed :) rogr design is adorable and smart, insi's tail is epic, banana split quetzal is hella cute, the colouring on oske is gorgeous! chiro is a little questionable (the plain pink swirls do not make me think of ice cream so the little bit of whipped cream and cherry on his head isn't quite enough to make him scream ice cream to me) but all in all WELL DONE. such a step up from july 4th (no offense meant, but technically speaking, aesthetics-wise.)
needless to say i have commented thrice on this thread already COS I LOVE THIS EVENT

Are we only aloud 1 a day? I finished one and tried to start on a second, but it told me there are no more Gourmet Recipes left.
