The Plio is the new raw pet. Staff discussed the way that the raw pet system works and it will be changing from the Plio on:
Raw pets will no longer, beginning with the Plio, be voted into an area. They will retire from the Raw item after their two months have passed. Every year on a yet undetermined date, all the retired Raw pets will be placed back into the Raw crystals for some sort of Raw Crystal Day. You can look forward to that day to make all the retired raw pets.
The Opterix is not affected by this change. You can vote on the Opterix below. You can choose to retire it like the Plio will be if you want, but the other options are there for you to choose from as well.
Begin making Plios by grabbing a Raw Crystal from the Cash Shop or another user.
You can find the Plio default in the BP Shop, and the PSD in the All Pet Genuses page, as normal.

As well, the new Plush set was released into the Plush Store. Spense informed me that he's too lazy to let you know himself. :p

Some other news:
1. We are still working out what to give out for Vamp/Zombie prizes. So far we have a few new battledome item ideas and some HA items. We could also release some vamp/zomb themed pets. If you have any ideas, let us know by posting them to this news post, we really need some!
2. Scav Hunt grading is underway. If you watch your list you should see admin comments and points popping up.
3. We figured out what's causing the 502 Gateway errors and will fix it when we see Yasu next. Hopefully that's soon!

Oh as for V/Z ideas for prizes, I'm all for breeding items of some kind as I worked my butt off getting items and was sort of hoping to get something out of it.....even a regular ol' metal pendent would be nice. Just something.
Though if we get HA vamp fangs.....you will have my love.

... I kinda think retiring the raw pets after 2 months without a vote is kinda BS. I can't afford raw crystals regardless, and being able to vote more pets into being available through tokens was awesome.

I like the idea of battle dome items =D And special Vamp/Zombie items, that do special things >.> I'm not big on HA stuff, really xD

As far as retiring pets goes I may not really like it but I support the decision. The voting was being abused and everything would have gone to the trash dump if this had continued.
For the V/Z, if there's a pet in it I'm happy. ^_^

The new raw pets thing... I like it, because it makes the pets more rare. But I don't like the reason behinf this new system... I mean, almost any of the raw pets was suppose to be Token pets! Token pets exists because people just want what's easier, not what is right... Besides, it's easy to just click, but see how many people (newbies, mainly) search for staff polls in the forums...
my idea: create a poll with wich pets should have the option to be token and why. Only the pets that got a consider votes will have the option of be choosen as Token.

Aww the Plio is cute! ....Why not just take out the trash option every now and then? It seems like it should be a smaller select place so only have the option of voting a RAW into it every so often instead? Then people would have to pick other options. Also like someone else said some of the art seems better suited to one place rather than another and/or the staff could pick.

Yeah.. do not do the retired thing please. Just take away voting rights, lol. Let the staff decide where pets go. Thats the best pick. And I never voted for the easy option in the polls. >> the bird dino does not belong with tokens. It belongs with ara or aye so we can have custom colors! SHOW THE STAFF WE ARE NOT EASY AND VOTE FOR THE RIGHT PICK! ARA OR AYA ARA OR AYA.

I'm actually not really against the retiring thing. That being said though it seems like an easier option would be to either just let staff pick where things go from now on, or else remove Trash Dump as an option and have token pets added to the system separately from votable ones. If we stick with the retiring/one day release thing, maybe an item for the SP shop or premium shop could be something that allows you to bypass the one day rule :3
As far as the Vampire/Zombie game, I'm not really excited to hear about pets and HA items, but I don't have anything super unique to contribute to the idea pool other than the usual stuff. But just out of curiosity, is it possible to unlock an NPC event from Epsilon, Chimera or Zave that wouldn't be available to players under a certain score? It could be a bp event or something (we don't have any of those) with a decent chunk of cash attached. I don't know, just thinking out loud.

...Why not just take the tokens off the options to send raw pets to? I mean, that would keep people from choosing it because it's the cheapest, and we've had raw pets that went to Ay and to Ara before, so that was balanced enough. Why do we even need a new system? On to something else: thank you so much for making a Tsubasa plush. ;A; He's one of my favorite characters, and really special to me, so I appreciate it. <3
