Scavenger Hunt ends in approximately 3 Hours.
Please make use of this remaining time to ask any last questions in the questions forum (I will be going through it once more, then that's it). Please make an effort to ensure your List Submission questions are using HTML, also, as that makes life a whole lot easier in grading. Failure to use HTML means it'll take me longer to grade your list and you won't get a grade back as promptly.
Also-- don't forget the list submission is automated, so as soon as the clock hits midnight it's going to close. Don't wait until the last minute. Don't wait until the last minute for the Effort Prize thread either, because that'll close at midnight as well!
The new Plush Set will come tomorrow so you can finish up Scav and go see that new HP movie. ;)

I've never met such an amazing group of people than I have this past week participating in the Scav. :)

It was so much fun and we all seemed to have a pretty great time participating. ^_^
Was a tad stressful with the 502 Gateway problem though. :P

*phew* This was the first scav I've participated in and I've got to say.... it has been the most fun I've had in 7 years! (LDS girls camp was as cool, but without prizes. lol)
I too thought it ended today, but that's because my brain remembered the date and not the time. I'm lucky I double checked this afternoon and freaked out and crammed in my last tasks. 11:59 in the future would be awesome and midnight is most definitely the beginning of today and not the end of yesterday. lol
I will say that the error messages were a major bummer and that I tried to cram in two more 100 pt tasks at the last minute (I broke 4-5 needles and a foot on a borrowed sewing machine *winces*) and we were trying to submit those proofs within the last 5 minutes before midnight and with all the error messages we have no clue if they made it. But even without those making it through I would definitely enjoy this again in the future ;P

Never got a chance to submit nominations for effort prizes.. Was too caught up rushing the lunarii picture and the magazine cover (which I wanted to add more to.., but it was almost midnight so I went with what I had), so I never could post some nominations.. I would so nominate my whole team. They had amazing work and kept focused. c: -Kovu

I just wanna say thank you slash c: I'm sure it's a huge pain trying to run a fun event with people complaining left and right. Our team tried to get our tasks done and turned in at least an hour before scav ended, and i'm pretty sure everything got turned in :D People need to expect that the site is gonna lag and mess up at the very end of scav, because of all the people.
I just think this is the best event i've ever participated in on a pet site, thank you so much <3 My team and I had so much fun, and have high hopes for those droolworthy prizes :D

Thanks for running scav again Slash! Good luck judging (hopefully you have a panel of helpful helpers for that monster task). I too had confusion about what midnight meant, but I just asked ahead of time, lol. I gotta say this was one of the funnest things I've done on aywas! My team is amazing <3

This may be the dumb or obvious suggestion, but...
Next time, can we have a countdown?
Like with the Vampires vs. Zombies, so there was no confusion whatsoever?
If I recall correctly, during/after one of the other two Scavenger Hunts (or possibly both?), there was a huge problem with the "ends on midnight" thing, also, since 12:00 AM sort of straddles two dates; it always has, and always will.
On all future scav hunts, a timer to count out the remaining time (perhaps on the Submission forum and/or the News pages; or perhaps on even every page, like the aywas clock?) would virtually eliminate any misconceptions~! ^^

Wait, we were supposed to use HTML? FAIL. No WONDER it didn't display properly for my stories and anything else. -frown- I hope my links showed up good, though. Most of my stuff was uploaded to Photobucket and Google Docs.
Ah well, the more I know, right? :'D I'll get it right for the next Scav. This was my first one, after all.

So much negativity. D: Scav was awesome. xD Mind boggling, back breaking, sleep depriving awesome. I hope we place well, at least in the top tier. <3 They all deserve some good prizes.
