Contests
Scavenger Hunt ends in approximately 3 Hours.
Please make use of this remaining time to ask any last questions in the questions forum (I will be going through it once more, then that's it). Please make an effort to ensure your List Submission questions are using HTML, also, as that makes life a whole lot easier in grading. Failure to use HTML means it'll take me longer to grade your list and you won't get a grade back as promptly.
Also-- don't forget the list submission is automated, so as soon as the clock hits midnight it's going to close. Don't wait until the last minute. Don't wait until the last minute for the Effort Prize thread either, because that'll close at midnight as well!
The new Plush Set will come tomorrow so you can finish up Scav and go see that new HP movie. ;)
Cheers!

To tell you the truth, I'm glad it's over. XD Pretty much the whole week was working on tasks. [which was fun] Yet, I kept forgetting to eat meals... drat.

Agreeing with you guys. A lot of fun. <3 Was my first scav. Next time, I'm going to join a more active team though, instead of making my own. I was the only person who really did anything in my team, everyone else was inactive, as far as I know.. xD;

I was really worried last night about getting 2 important tasks done and having time to go see HP at midnight, because I bought my tickets ages ago. XD BUUUT I finished and got to see iiiit, it was sexy. 8) Although not as sexy as the book, of course! - senpai

The confusion comes because most people consider midnight to follow the day it's said for i.e. that if it's midnight of 'x' it'd be the first hour of 'y'
very few people go by the technical way that midnight is really the first hour of the day not the last...
hence the need for a counter that counts down this many day-hour-minutes
for the less technical minded people

I think most people just need to learn how to tell time; I used to think the same way as you describe, but I trained myself to tell time the right way. And there's no excuse for thinking the wrong way for a whole week... I can understand confusion for a day or so, and then realizing the truth, but... :x And sorry to hear that, Arctic Fox!

Sorry, what I was trying to say is that I don't think a counter is necessary. Nice? Sure! Great? Certainly! But necessary? Nah.

It doesn't really matter when it opened, does it, katemonster?? It's not like it hurt anyone's chances not being able to submit entries before then, lol.
