I just heard something interesting. Apparently, if you add the following user to your friends list, something cool will appear on the site for you to try out, before we make our final decision on releasing it..... Or something along those lines ;) Rumor has it, if you add this user to your friends list, you will be able to do a lot of cool things with the rest of your friends!

*I also don't understand WHY you continue to add NEW stuff to this site. There are SO many bugs/glitches that should be dealt with first. This is quite annoying, actually. And I'm quite biased for this upgrade anyways since I hate facebook. This bar is a bit useless if you compare it to BIGGER problems going on in the site. Yeah, it's cool that you guys are trying to add newer and bigger things to the site, but c'mon, There's a problem left and right. Plus it caused the site to crash multiple times, like we need anymore lag.
I just hope some of the bigger issues are ticketed, instead of upgrading to... Toolbars.

Honestly? I love the fact that we've been getting new features.
New features make me excited. :D I think I'm more upset that the entire site was borked for a while, at a very bad time, and then I can't even /see/ the new feature, yet other people seem to have access to it. /disappoint
But no. x_x I don't think Rebel should be attacked for anything; people complaining about an apparent "facebook ripoff" should... just not use the feature. :| It's like cooking- if you don't like doing the cooking quests, don't do them. Don't whine about the feature, just... don't use it.
And also, everyone complaining about current glitches- New things are going to continue to be added to make everything less redundant. :/ I know I can't stand sites like Wajas anymore because there's never anything new to do or play around with. :/ Though I do agree with glitches needing to be fixed. Perhaps they can be worked on simultaneously?

I agree that we should treat coders, like we should treat EVERYONE, with respect, regardless of our personal opinions of them. I do, however, still maintain that this new feature could have been added at a better time. I will also point out that I probably will not be using this new feature and have already un-friended the Something Awesome account (I don't even use the chat feature on FB), but I know that some users will think it's cool and use it all the time. It's better than XAT, because it's one-on-one chat, and it has features the FB chat doesn't have, like sharing documents and images and stuff. Theoretically.
My point is, you should give the dust a chance to settle before you outright bash something.

Will you all quit it out!? You guys have been NOTHING but RUDE and ABUSIVE. Why cant you fucking see they THEY'RE TRING. And your going to rant on them for trying!? SHAME on you! Really! Clean up your fucking act! I came to Aywas thinking it was FULL OF NICE FLIPPEN PEOPLE, and all you guys have been doing is....just....HORIBLE. SERIOUSLY! How were they suppost to KNOW that this would happen!? Have some fucking compashion. Gezz.

The whole thing about treating coders with respect because of the fact that they are a "coder" is ridiculous. If someone is paid for a service, certain things are expected of them. If I'm hired to do a job with an expectation that what I do is to meet certain obligations and those obligations are not met, I shouldn't expect to get paid or at the very least, not expected to receive future employment. I figured that goes without saying but apparently I'm wrong.

"Treat them well because they are a special commodity." // I understand your point of view, but I think users are not purposefully complaining because they want to rag on him/her for no reason. I'm sure this coder would get much more positive feedback from users if old issues were addressed first... because at this point, it feels like we are moving ahead and adding new things instead of ensuring that things are properly corrected in a timely manner. Perhaps a miscommunication about the priorities on this site? Because as a user and a participant in contributing to the site, a lot of my frustration with Aywas is that there seems to be this on-going trend of things taking forever to get corrected if they relate to coding issues. Honest truth there, not trying to be mean about it. I think the coder could at least take this feedback from other users being upset, and adjust the priority list of his/her coding skills.
