Something Interesting

Site Update

I just heard something interesting. Apparently, if you add the following user to your friends list, something cool will appear on the site for you to try out, before we make our final decision on releasing it..... Or something along those lines ;) Rumor has it, if you add this user to your friends list, you will be able to do a lot of cool things with the rest of your friends!

Something Awesome (#27037)

I know i've added this suspicious looking user myself ;) Why don't you give it a try!

If you are going to comment on this newspost, ensure you are respecting the amount of time this coder has put into the site already and this feature. Any disrespect will be met with a reminder or a warning. If you can't share your thoughts nicely and respectfully then refrain from posting.

I agree with Cynder.. yes it's in the middle of Scav, which I also know is very important to some of you, and it's glitching up the site some, but Rebel didn't know this would happen. Please don't attack them, they were only trying something. If you try something say, at work, and it messes up the line alittle, hwo would you feel if hundred of people started freaking out on you? You'd feel pretty bad, right? All I'm saying is it was a simple mistake, whether it was in a bad time or not. Please think of it from Rebel's point of view before you go spewing hate like throw-up. Thank you. <3

I... agree with the majority, even though I haven't seen this new feature to myself. Entirely the wrong time to add this in the middle of a big event, and without fixing existing bugs first? I can't get to my friendslist here, and I couldn't even get on earlier.

Been here since day one of Alpha release... same old, same old. Preexisting bugs take 6 months to get addressed, if that, unless they're causing a huge problem. Yet so many new coding-related things get precedent over fixing things that will make this site run more smoothly... I've already had newbies come to me asking how to do this or that, and 80% of the time my answer is "yeah sorry, that feature isn't coded yet/is glitched and has been for a while". It is not being hypercritical to say that this kind of progression is irresponsible from a user's point of view. It is not that people are being too whiny, it's that this is a well-known and common problem with Aywas. I really don't think this feature was necessary, considering all of the other coding work that Aywas does clearly need.

Noob here. How do you add people, anyway?

The responses here are seriously sickening me. Don't treat the coders like crap and then expect them to enjoy, or even want to code for Aywas. Seriously, some UNDERSTANDING would suffice instead of throwing tantrums and acting like the world is ending. Very, very disappointed. Don't crush an excited programmer's enthusiasm to code because you guys have already managed to do that to other coders already.
