This theme means you could draw the Standing Stones... the Phoenix Tree... Ay Town... The Fissures... anything landscape related, as long as there are no "characters" in the picture!

Oh wow, I love this set of winners. XD My favourites are the ones on the right - the Xaoc looks amazing and tasty, the carrotfish Ryba was extremely clever and the Soli just stuns me - I'd break the fruit trying to do that. Congrats to the winners!

Now this theme I can pull off pretty well if work really hard on it. Although, the time frame is gonna make this hard to finish on time.

If I drew a foresty landscape could I put small faint shadows of one or two pets in the background as long as they're not the picture's focus or even noticeable at a glance? Just curious what you meant by "characters".

Can photos be used for the Landscape contest as well instead of drawings?

You can't use photos (those are usually copyrighted to someone else) but you can make a diorama or that sort of thing. As for shadows of pets, that's okay, they just can't be drawn in there.
