The average score for a user playing in my event was 196. So I'll be basing the event prizes around that number (and you can tell whether you were above average, below average...way above average... etc!).

All it says is the "Special Drinking Game" ends at midnight, which can easily be assumed that the high scores will be captured and drinks removed from the shop. The news post never stated the drinks would be worthless. I know a lot of people didn't bother to use their drinks right away if they didn't have a chance to end up on the HS. I saved up all of my drinks to use once the seasonal shop opened, and now I'm screwed. Guess I should never assume anything. :I

the whole frustrating point was that i didn't know what I was buying these drinks for. i fed them to my pets hurriedly before midnight and throughout the entire process because i was paranoid that you wouldn't be able to after 12am. i think the news was very clear about that. the event ends at midnight. no and, ifs, or, buts. and i think the comments on the news clarified it too. however, i think this "average = 190" is really absurd. clearly the people who have 4k+ points are throwing off the average aywas player. from what the ppl commenting are saying here, 190 doesn't sound truly average to me. i spent a lot of time on this event and i'm barely over average too. the pets should at least be affordable to more people. (250pts for a pet?! how?!)

Welp, hunted for leaves the entire event.. didn't find a single one. Can't help but feel mildly ripped off here.

Well, I spent ever spare minute I had hunting these leaves and was lucky enough to get nearly 800 points. This would appear to put me way above average, and yet I still can't afford to get one of each of the events pets. I picked out my favourites and have those, but really feel for those who were "average" as the pet prices for the event really only seem to cater to the ones who were WAY above average.
