Plush Series 4

Items

It has so been decreed that plushes will remain in circulation for an additional month after their initial four week existence. After that four week period has passed, their SP reward in the Museum will be removed, but the item reward and the plushes will still be available for those who want to continue collecting.

This is in effect for Series 2 and onward.

You have THREE DAYS to put your Series 1 and Series 2 plushes in the collections before the SP reward is removed permanently for them. This leeway will not be in effect for Series 3, as it has two weeks to go.

Spense says:

Since I know you love hearing from me, I bear news - I have stocked Series 4 plushes in my shop. I have now made eighty plushes... and I am rather proud of myself, I might say.

Here are the plushes for this Series:

The prize for this Series' museum collection is:

As I am feeling rather nice (don't get used to it), the first twenty five people to comment on this news post can have a Series 4 Plush Box. I am now off to haunt some reapers and irritate them. Cheers!

Thanks for clarifying, Boe and Bailey. I guess I was always under the assumption that the museum collection was no longer available after the four weeks -- was series 1's SP still available after they were retired??

yes, I finished my series 1 collection after series 3 was already released and got the SP

I can understand your frustration then, and I apologize for not realizing your point earlier. But with the extension, I do think it will become somewhat easier to obtain the plushes needed before the SP is taken out of the museum.

Honestly I don't think the change is all that bad, but I feel like we should have been given more warning ahead of time because some of us wouldn't have spent all that $ if we had known we would never be able to complete the collection in time, or tried to get it done faster.

Yes, this will make it easier for collectors and people wanting to submit plushes to the museum, since they won't compete with each other, but I wish we'd had some kind of warning before this change. Just this morning I bought a bunch of the plushes that weren't even for sale by other users in the first four weeks. I was hoping to be able to still get some kind of reward for my patience that's worth about the same as what I spend BP/GP-wise.
it is definitely going to skyrocket the prices in the first 4 weeks when buying from user shops (at least a few people will take advantage of the rush), and some of us just don't have the free time available to keep checking for restocks in the shop.

I agree with Bailey and partially with Kai - I don't mind it so much, I just wish there had been a warning to give some of us a last-minute chance to scramble for SP without is abruptly being removed. R100s will definitely be more accessible for collectors after the change, and perhaps the custom items will still be worth the cost. *shrug*

Can we at least get a few days to finish up the first collections for SP? It seems really unfair to take it away with no warning.

So, the plushes will be removed from circulation or they will still be available for collecting? Which is it? I'm confused. Also, why is the SP reward being removed... it will be even harder to finish the collection after it's been removed from circulation.
