It has so been decreed that plushes will remain in circulation for an additional month after their initial four week existence. After that four week period has passed, their SP reward in the Museum will be removed, but the item reward and the plushes will still be available for those who want to continue collecting.
This is in effect for Series 2 and onward.
You have THREE DAYS to put your Series 1 and Series 2 plushes in the collections before the SP reward is removed permanently for them. This leeway will not be in effect for Series 3, as it has two weeks to go.
Spense says:
Since I know you love hearing from me, I bear news - I have stocked Series 4 plushes in my shop. I have now made eighty plushes... and I am rather proud of myself, I might say.

As I am feeling rather nice (don't get used to it), the first twenty five people to comment on this news post can have a Series 4 Plush Box. I am now off to haunt some reapers and irritate them. Cheers!

Its really not the same as before, I can imagine not having the funds to buy the r 100 you need until after the end of the 4 weeks. for those of us going for SP, it seems that it could put more of a strain. I assume that most are not going for SP, so I suppose it really does not matter, but for those that are, as the series keep coming out, our money will continue to dwindle and now there is no chance of buying that last r 100 we need from someone else and completing it later.
I will just work on what I can and take solace in the fact that most seem to be happy with it, though I wish it could have stayed the same. I just hope that everyone who was going for SP already had their collections in the museum for series 2 and that those who bought extras in hopes of trading still get to trade for the newer ones they need. I assume now that series 2 no longer has the SP prize (and as future collections lose the SP prize) that the r 100s are/will be worth a lot less. Of course, this will prevent people from hoarding, but it will really stink for those that get duplicates from the plushie boxes as they may be harder to trade off ....and now I am babbling.
Either way, I do hope that it makes most everyone happy. I understand being outnumbered in opinion and am sure that there have been changes that I loved that others hated.
Thanks and again I say, that though this was not a change I wanted, I am proud to be a member of a site that cares about what its members want.

Was there? I was informed that you could submit them after they went out of circulation, they just stopped showing up in the shops. I don't collect sp, but I have friends who are not happy about this very abrupt change. :/

I feel sick.... I just spent over 20GP getting plushies for series 2 and almost had all of them... and I still have to buy another 16GP worth of plushies to get a bronze orb?

The rush for the plushes has always been there, even before the change. Before, it was both collectors *and* people hunting for SP competing for them since you only had 4 weeks before they retired. If anything, there won't be such a massive rush as before, since collectors will have additional time to obtain plushes. Also, Series 2 came out on May 5th, and it was stated that you had 4 weeks to collect them for the Museum. I'm not sure why so many people were caught off-guard.

chibi hon I think you are missing the point. If you got all but 1 R 100 plushie you could still buy it from an individual and get your SP after they were retired. Now you can not. That is all we are trying to say.

Chibi, The plushies were only avalible to buy for 4 weeks, you were still able to turn them in after the 4 week period

I know for a fact I won't be rushing to get R100's the first four weeks because I know I'm not after SP. That's one less person looking for that plush. Many of us have said we're not in it for the SP, I think it'll be okay. I agree with Chibi, I think it'll lessen the strain.
