SCC Species Contest
DESCRIPTION: Pretend you're writing a scientific paper about a brand new SCC species that you discovered. Include any facts about it, and be creative - the creature's biology, what it looks like (feel free to include a sketch, but no more than that), where it lives in Ay (habitat), how it fits into the Ay ecosystem, what it eats, its history and how it came to be on Ay, how its social groups work, how intelligent it is... go crazy!
JUDGING: Contest will be judged on creativity and how much detail about your species you are able to come up with. The more detail and depth to your entry, the better a chance it has of winning. Judging will be done by Kyu (#1010).
PRIZES: Three entries will be selected as winners. The prizes for each winner will include:
+ A $25 Voucher from Aywas that can be used to pay any artist on Aywas to create your SCC art
+ Two Silver Custom Crystals for you, to establish your species
+ Five Silver Potions, to be distributed by you to friends or other users free of charge, to create one of your species
END DATE: Entries must be posted here by June 13.

It did have a winner. The squidshark won and the design was sent to the pet artist to make xD

Though writing in this sort of format isn't usually the kind of thing I jump at, and I'm already in the process of having my own species made, the prizes are awesome and developing such a background for my species sounds pretty awesome, I'll have to try and come up with another species for entry in this! ^-^

It's a shame pre-existing SCCs don't qualify -- Fateweavers would've been wonderful for this! Then again, I guess it's better to give a new species a chance to shine. ^^

Bawww, this kind of makes me sad since I have a species I really want to expand, but already have one created, so I can't use it. D'8 I'll have to try and think up a new one!! This chance is too good to just let go. x3;;
