This very, very rare item was recently stolen from someone. How? A scamming lair partner.
Please, please, PLEASE think about who you plan to let onto your account. As Aywas gets bigger, scammers start showing up, which is unfortunately what one user experienced tonight. A nice, friendly user was really a scammer - and stole all the rare items off their "new partner"'s account.
Your BIGGEST defense against scammers is to look at the activity of the person you're considering let onto your account. How long have they been involved in the community? Do they make contributions - pet colors, suggestions, wearables, etc? When did they register? Do they have things of value (customs, custom HA items, etc) that they wouldn't want to lose by scamming?
Let's face it - if you have nice things, someone will want to take them from you. Don't let it happen. Make sure that the person you're planning on trusting doesn't seem like someone who is obviously not up to par with you, riches wise. If you have a lot of nice things, they should too. Otherwise, who's to say they won't steal yours?
Lair partners can make Aywas a better, more personal game for both players. But you need to make sure you look at how trustworthy, based on activity, that person is. That way you have a better net to filter out the scammers.

This makes me sick. Scamming someone on a pet site is the dumbest thing ever. You almost always get caught, and i mean, what's the point anyways? They're pretty pixels that are worth virtual money that you can get for yourself with a little time and effort. Sure you may sell the stolen item for a bit of GP before you get caught- but then you're banned AND have nothing to profit from it.
This is why i'd only ever share an account with my RL friend i've known for 4 years. Who has his own account so theres no need for sharing. xD

This is terrible. Is there any way we can donate gp, pets, or items to this person? I don't have many spectacular things but I'd love to share some of the good ones I do have....

I am not worried about what will happen to the baddie who was sent off from the waterfall. I am more worried about the person being scammed. After you trust someone alot to let them in, they robbed you? There goes all the trust. It must have hurt big time. I know Slash can recover the items stolen. But the trust betrayed can never be undone.

why are people so shoked by knowing someone was scammed? I mean, 'cmom... we are not in dreamland. Soon or later, people with bad intentions will show up. Avoid scam is just a matter of good sense.
Good thing Aywas have staff member who care with the community.
