This very, very rare item was recently stolen from someone. How? A scamming lair partner.
Please, please, PLEASE think about who you plan to let onto your account. As Aywas gets bigger, scammers start showing up, which is unfortunately what one user experienced tonight. A nice, friendly user was really a scammer - and stole all the rare items off their "new partner"'s account.
Your BIGGEST defense against scammers is to look at the activity of the person you're considering let onto your account. How long have they been involved in the community? Do they make contributions - pet colors, suggestions, wearables, etc? When did they register? Do they have things of value (customs, custom HA items, etc) that they wouldn't want to lose by scamming?
Let's face it - if you have nice things, someone will want to take them from you. Don't let it happen. Make sure that the person you're planning on trusting doesn't seem like someone who is obviously not up to par with you, riches wise. If you have a lot of nice things, they should too. Otherwise, who's to say they won't steal yours?
Lair partners can make Aywas a better, more personal game for both players. But you need to make sure you look at how trustworthy, based on activity, that person is. That way you have a better net to filter out the scammers.

What a low life rotten thing to do!
I feel so bad for the victim. Being hurt like that can take a long time to get over if they ever do.
Major hugs to whoever this happened to.

You know its pretty messed up that someone still has to take things from others even on a site where its not that hard to save for a few months and have tons of rare items. So freaking childish. *nods*

People are just horrible sometimes. :( I can't understand why someone would do that to another person. *sigh* I really hope something like this doesn't happen to anyone again. Stuff like this just really makes me feel sick to my stomach.

That's terrible! I'm so sorry that happened! I'm on my own now, but I did have two lair partners once, when I was on hiatus. But they were both great, and had no desire to bother with my pets.

Screw the scammer, who didn't just affect the poor victim, but now made us all a bit more paranoid. >.> I hope the concerned person meets a few pirahnas at the base of the waterfall.
