Ok, so to be honest, I have no idea what happened with that last task. Everything started off going well, but it suddenly the golem count started skyrocketing as if they were creating themselves. In the end, we had over 5,500,000 Golems created which shouldn't have been possible within the time frame.
I need to look into what exactly went wrong, but in the mean time I'll give both teams the promised reward (yes, we tie'd you). Enjoy half ToT time for the next 24 hours.
Note that this only applies to ToTing other players.

Candypocalypse: Final Task
Events
Aketch is standing behind a table with all manner of tools and equipment. They are clearly working hard as they are sweating and their hands are moving almost too quickly to see. They wipe their brow and set the tools down on the table with a loud clank.
Almost finished, they say, all I need is some help from my loyal minions and Greta will never know what hit her. Then I will be free to rule Halloween as I see fit and devour all the candy in Ay!
At the same time, we see Greta in her own workshop. She is using magic to tamper with whatever is on the workbench in front of her. All we can see from this angle are sporadic glows as she casts all manner of spells on whatever lies in front of her.
"That'll teach that Aketch to cross me." she snarls as she picks up whatever is on the table in front of her. She runs off into the night, "Implings, your master requires your assistance! Greta yells as she runs towards the Haunted Lake.

Candypocalypse: Task Phase
Events
Minerva sighs as she finally heads back to her Garden. Feeling as though she was finally able to set the two trouble makers straight, perhaps they could get back to a proper Halloween, after all she needed the proper flowers for her plans at the end of the month.... She dismisses Odrha, thanking the Unus of Death for its support and aid during this frustrating situation before she returns to tend her own garden once more.
From off in the distance, Aketch and Greta watch, twisted smirks crossing their lips as they both send out the sign to their followers.
"We need Poop! Ghost Poop!"
What type of mischief are they up to now...?

Candypocalypse: Task Results
Events
The cranky Griffin looks around uneasily, half expecting another half eaten Candy Golem to jump her. It has become too silent, where did those two get off to? She wonders to herself as she slowly flies over the world, looking for any signs of them.
Slowly Minerva begins to relax, just wanting to get back to her gardens, and even Rowan. She remains on guard as she continues her patrol, still vigilant as always, just relaxing enough to be able to breath something other than candy dust.
Figuring she'll patrol for a little while longer, just to ensure everyone is on their best behavior.
Minions
Those who participated can get thier Halloween Pumpkins by visiting Aketch.

Candypocalypse: Task Phase
Events
As the feud between Greta and Aketch had pushed the Griffin to her boiling point. She had tried simply destroying their toys. She tried to stop their underlings. Now they were still at it? Obviously Minerva had not gone far enough.
The shapeshifter stood in front of Aketch and Greta, raising her hands in the air. Again, Minerva brought for the dark magic that stirred in the air, small orbs of dark magic hovering around her. Minions and Implings everywhere had found themselves unable to move. Even Greta and Aketch found themselves lifted off the ground through no action of their own.
"This time you will not ignore my warnings!" Minerva growled, strengthening her magic further.
"Fine, fine! We get it!" Aketch growled, their voice raspy and quite annoyed by this display.
"Yeah, you made your point!" Greta huffed, a fanged-frown crossing her face. Minerva watched them closely for a moment before putting them down. The minions and implings found themselves able to move once again. True to their word, Aketch and Greta faced their respective underlings.
"Due to....circumstances beyond our control..." Greta side-eyed Minerva. "It is time to play nice with one another."
"That goes for us as well." Aketch added. Seeming to be satisfied, Minerva left to return back to any hobby other than dealing with these two again. "Yes, play nice.... for now. Aketch finalized once Minerva was out of earshot.
"For now." Greta grinned wickedly.
This task deals with collecting the most treat karma! Remember, treat karma is earned by treating those who knock on your door (not throwing ghost poop)!
Time to get knockin'!
From now until the end of the month, all spells will be half off. Stop by the Bubbling Cauldron and start stocking up!

"Ahaha! Did your win from earlier get to your head, Aketchy?" Greta smirked, looking quite pleased with her Implings' victory. Behind her, Minerva's greenhouse stood in a disorderly fashion. Not only was it quite noticable that there were less plants inside than there once was, but the ground was littered with ones that must have been dropped as a Minion or Imp were fleeing Odhra.
Suddenly, whatever joy there was to be had seemed to vanish in an instant. In place of it, an eerie chill seemed to fill the air.
"What... is this..." Minerva had returned, fists clenched as her voice wavered slightly. Although she had assumed her greenhouse wouldn't have been entirely safe while she was gone, the sight before her was too much.
"Oh! We had an intense battle. Y'know, to see who won't be able to have candy," Greta responded nonchalantly. She failed to explain that it was in part because Minerva had intervened in the first place, and Aketch seems quite content to remain silent in the face of the enraged Griffin.
"Your little battles have gone on quite enough," Minerva hissed, causing Greta's everlasting grin to falter. "I had no intention of getting dragged into these little games, but if that is what it takes to get you two to behave, then so be it!!"

Candypocalypse: Task Phase
Events
The legendary feud between Greta and Aketch had come to an abrupt halt, their Candy Golems and Imps crushed by the hot-tempered Minerva. The witch searched up and down around the worlds of Ay and Ara, searching for any other Candy creatures that still remained, Rowan following close at her heels, trying to convince her to calm down a bit.
The two evil-doers couldn't just let this interruption go unpunished, now could they? They quickly raced off to Minerva's greenhouse, temporarily putting aside their differences for some good old fashioned vengeance! What they saw, however caught them both offguard.
Odhra! That wicked griffin had left the Apocalypse Unus of Death to guard over her plants while she was away! There was no way that Greta or Aketch could get by it, no matter how slow it seems to be, the unus of death can always sense those who are around it. They quickly regroup and discuss a new strategy, why should they do the hard work and risk Odhra's punishments, when they could simply get their minions to....
Harvest plants from Minerva's greenhouse. The harder the harvest, the more points you'll earn for your team.

Candypocalypse: Task Results
Site Update
A loud griffin-like screech pierced the silence of the night as a shadowy figure came into view. "I have had quite enough!" Minerva yelled, stomping her foot on the ground as she landed, causing nearby golems to fall. Minerva's tail twitched in annoyance as she looked at all the golems crawling all over the land.
Aketch and Greta's feud had gone too far this time. "It is bad enough I have trespassers in my garden at all hours of the day, now I have to deal with you as well?" She growled. She held her hands outstretched as dark magic materialized in her palms. With a loud cry, she sent the magic crackling towards the golems, causing them to stop and shake, before the dark magic broke them apart.
Before too long, all the golems had fallen to the ground in a heap of old candy, used bubblegum and what Minerva could only surmise as ghost poop.
"This really is getting out of hand, isn't it?" Another voice behind Minerva chimed in. Rowan had followed Minerva as fast as she could when she saw how angry the other had become over 'The Feud'. She had been momentarily distracted, however, by the carnage of broken golems strewn about.
"And it isn't over, I'm sure." Minerva glared in the direction she knew Greta to be in, she could feel the trickster's magic.
Aketch smiled approvingly over their minions. They had succeeded in taking this round. Still, Aketch surveyed the broken golems. They had not foreseen the interference of Minerva, but the Unus was not willing to fold yet. Tapping their cane against the ground, Aketch had another idea slowly creep into their mind. Without a moment to lose, Aketch turned to find a more secluded place to iron out the details of the next plan.
Oh no. They certainly weren't done yet...
Aketch's Minions achieved victory with their score of 27,121 points! Greta's Implings proved they were a force to be reckoned with, following close behind with 26,117 points.
The prizes for the event will be handed out tomorrow, as the staff members handling distribution will not be available until such time! So please remain patient for those rewards!
The next event will begin at 8:00 PM AST, so be prepared!

Candypocalypse: Task Phase
Events
Aketch gripped their cane tightly, scowling over their minions. Yes, they had done their best, but their best wasn't good enough. Losing the bet wasn't an option, but the truth was, Greta simply had more followers than they did. Then, a brilliant idea came to them. If they couldn't get more minions to join, then they would simply build more! With a quick visit to Querel, the plan was in motion.
For hours, Aketch's minions toiled, gathering key components needed, turning them in to Querel, who's alchemy brought the golems to life.
Of course, the impish Lunaris has spies everywhere, and Aketch's secret was unable to remain a secret for long...
Give Querel a visit at his Alchemy Lab, see what's needed (make sure you are creating the correct golem), then go to the Haunted Lake to find them. Build your overlord an army!
