Site Update
Friendly reminder that you have until tomorrow, October 15th at 11:59 PM AST (the clock up in the top corner of the Aywas page!) to submit your predictions for PPP perks.
Predictions that are rejected for legitimate fixes will receive 3 days from the date their breeding is rejected to resubmit with fixed predictions.
- Predictions that are submitted purposefully to be rejected (ex. like submitting a blank base without the proper add-on, or an offspring with no marking/edit mixes for LBC) will not receive an extension.
- If your prediction is rejected on 10/16, you have until 11:59 at 10/19 to upload a fixed image.
Oh, also!
If you have a Holiday Breeding Coin that needs to be processed, you must post it in the HBC Prediction Check thread! Otherwise it will not be processed!

Greenhouse Maintainance
Events
People using the Magical Candy Apple may have noticed that the numbers in the Greenhouse were reacting weirdly.
While the item was working correctly, and the Greenhouse areas responding correctly, the numbers were sending some mixed signals.
We have now fixed that problem and looting the Greenhouse areas should be much easier for you to plan now!

Halloween Continues..?

This is your first Halloween Advent item.
Eve forgot to use it on her expired brain and because of that she forgot to put it in the Advent calendar before she logged off last night.
It will however will be collectable tomorrow, and Advent will continue as normal throughout the rest of the month.
Starting today, those with Candy Apple Baskets will be able to open them daily again!
I'm afraid we're not re-releasing them this year, but never say never and we might see them again in the future.
The Basket will cease use again at 11:59pm October 31st.
And the Birthday Party location is now CLOSED!
We hope you had fun with the area, and got enough Greenpaw Notes to get everything you want from the shop.
You still have time to use your event currency if you haven't - the shop will be open until 11:59 PM AST on October 9th (tomorrow night).

Drop in some surprises and randomly select a pumpkin to collect some for yourself too!
Remember, any and all messages left in pumpkins must follow the Terms of Service. Additionally, the pumpkins cannot be tagged as [M]ature, so do not put anything that may need this tag into the pumpkins. If you pick up a pumpkin that violates either of these rules, please PM a staff member. Be kind, and have fun!
Trick or Treat
Trick or Treating is now live! Collect candy to be used in an ALL PET shop at the end of the month!
Here's a quick refresher on how it works for the old, as well as a helpful guide for the new!
Sending Requests
First click "Enable ToT Requests" under the Trick or Treat widget on the left side of the page.
You can visit the Trick or Treating page to start. Listed there are currently online Aywans interested in accepting Trick or Treat requests. Just click on the "Trick or Treat" button below their name to send the request. You can send requests to an Aywan every 30 minutes. This page will update itself when an Aywan's online status changes.
Processing Requests
On the side menu of the site, there's a Trick or Treat status box. As you receive requests, your visitor count will change. You can click this number (or go to My Visitors) to view your requests. From there, you'll have the option to trick or treat your visitor.
Treating visitors will cost 1,000 BP each at minimum.
Tricking visitors ALSO costs a minimum of 1,000 BP each.
You have 15 minutes to respond to a Trick or Treat request before it expires.
If trick or treating your fellow Aywans isn't for you, don't forget that you can always Trick or Treat the NPCs instead! Swing by the Site Characters page and trick or treat them when they are available.
Located on the Trick or Treat status box is a Karma Meter. As you send trick or treat requests or trick visitors, you will incur negative (orange) karma. Vise-versa, treating users will give you positive (blue) karma. Both karma levels have their benefits and risks, so experiment around!
And of course our Spooky Forest has been opened to you to collect Bootatos to use in our ALL ITEM shop at the end of the month. You can also pick up pets from Halloween past for a few days before we begin to migrate some new pets for you to collect!
Halloween Advent will begin Wednesday 9th October. We wanted to give you plenty of time to see this news post and get ready to collect even more fun items.

The Event Shop is now open! There is an assortment of food, collectibles, and even pets for you to enjoy! If you don't have enough Greenpaw Notes to purchase everything you like, don't worry - the birthday area will be open until 11:59 PM AST on October 8th.
The shop will close the following day, so be sure to make all your purchases before 11: 59 PM AST on October 9th! We hope that everyone has enjoyed the celebration!

Monthly HA Contest

The winning HA sets have been placed into their respective shops (click the image to go there!), and will be in stock until November 14th!
The previous sets (Radiant and Astronomer) are still in stock and will leave the shops on October 31st. As such I do not have their earning statistics to share with you!
Since it's a little late to shoehorn in a Halloween contest, I would love to see anyone who has some ideas burning in their minds to consider entering them into the Halloween Event Shop thread.
If you're feeling the festive spirit already (and with so many shops starting to stock Christmas items, who can blame you!) then I have put up a basing thread which will remain open until November 24th. Your design doesn't HAVE to be themed after Aymas or another winter festival, but the final sets will be released around December 25th.

JUKE STOP FIXING PBC

I'm just pumpin' these PBC updates out faster than I can notify my artists sometimes -- but today's update was given to the artists with plenty of forewarning!
This change mostly affects USD artists, but current GP artists and potential artists will also want to know about this, I feel!
There will now be a three-strike rule in regards to completing breedings on time. For every breeding that becomes overdue, a strike will marked against the artist. Three of these tallies and they will be relegated to GP payment until they can complete 10 breedings on time.
How does this affect current GP artists and future artists?
If a USD artist moves to GP, that will free up a 'USD slot.' If a GP artist has done their breedings on time and is doing really well, then I will move them into that USD slot. I only have a set amount of USD slots open, so even if someone is earning GP and turning lists in on time they may not move up right away, but I will keep track of all artists who are eligible for USD pay.
Three further strikes after demotion to GP payment the artist will be removed from the panel, until they are able to devote the time needed to the team. Extenuating circumstances, real-life issues, and other factors will be discussed on a case-by-case basis, so there's no penalty for life getting in the way if I'm notified!
I'm hoping that this change will attract more artists to the team so that there will be more variation in style and preferences for the users to choose from and to bring a little more life to the panel!
As before, new applicants can use the PBC Panel to apply and my inbox is always open for questions, concerns, and feedback!

Quick Updates
The birthday HA contest winners will be uploaded and in shops tomorrow. Sorry for the delay!
The Seasonal Shop will be opening October 5th, most likely in the afternoon or early evening. It will close October 9th, 11:59pm.
I've placed a Frosted Nacho in the Event Shop so you can see your Greenpaw Note count - you can buy the nacho if you wish, it will be removed when we add the real stock, but you can of course still get it in Adventure while the area is open.
The Birthday Party Adventure area will be open until October 8th (11:59pm).
Halloween will also begin at the weekend - we wanted to give you a chance to enjoy the birthday for a few days before piling on the usual Halloween festivities!
