Thanks to everyone's hard work, everything came together perfectly for the ladies' wedding. From the venue to their hair and dresses, the atmosphere was truly magical. Now, all that was left was for the two to be wed.
Minerva's expression was softer than usual as she stood across from her fiance, though she did seem a bit nervous - an unusual sight to see indeed.
Rowan, on the other hand, seemed to be overjoyed and as peppy as ever. "Minerva... We've had our ups-and-downs, and not everything has been sunshine and rainbows, but I don't think there is another person I would rather spend the rest of my life with," she began, taking hold of Minerva's hands. "--and even if you don't always put your feelings into words, the fact that you tried your best to go along with a competition for our own wedding... Your actions mean more to me than phrases ever could."
"Rowan..." Minerva seemed to be touched by Rowan's speech, and her eyes glistened slightly. "I'm sorry I hadn't been proactive with our marriage arrangements before..." she paused, as if thinking about her words carefully. "You are the only one I would want to be married to, but... I just started thinking that maybe you deserved someone better. Someone who wasn't scowling, maybe someone who could be fun like you--" As she was interrupted by a kiss, her cheeks flushed.
"I don't need someone like me. Without my gloomy little rain cloud, I'd get sunburned and parched, and then I'll turn into a tumbleweed. Is that what you want?" Rowan rambled on, causing both ladies to start laughing.
"Then, I'll make sure you get an adequate amount of shade and water, so you can continue to bloom beautifully," Minerva smiled warmly. "--for the rest of our lives."
As we congratulate our lovely ladies on their marriage, we would also like to congratulate both teams for their hard work throughout the event! At this time, the Snapdragon recipes have been removed from Alchemy. Additionally, the Satin Sheet items, Stiletto items, and Red Snapdragon have been removed from the Corner Store permanently. With the retiring of the Satin Sheet and Stiletto items, the Loyal Love Suune in the Recycling Center now requires 50 Red Spheres instead of 50 Red Satin Sheets.
Now - onto the prizes!
Everyone who participated will receive a few items as a thank you from the brides! The Engraved Shot Glass is a collectible, commemorating this wonderful day. Minerva has also given a collectible of her own - the Packet of Greenhouse Seeds. The Key to My Wife's Heart item will unlock the "Key to My Heart" achievement. Last, but not least, is the Bottle of Snapdragon Petals. This item will unlock a site theme, but unfortunately it needs to soak in a bit more magic before it can do so.
The top 10 players on both teams will receive two items in addition to the wedding favors! The Snapdragon Shears will unlock the "Snapdragon Slayer" achievement - fitting for the ones who sacrificed so many Snapdragon! Rowan also prepared the Rowan's Coupon item to show her appreciation. This item can be used during our October festivities by presenting it to Minerva when she catches you attempting to steal her herbs, and she'll let your robbery slide! This item regenerates 3 days after use.
As Team Rowan won the challenges, everyone on her team will receive a sparkly trophy for their trophy cabinet! For the top 10 players on both teams, you will receive a gold, silver, or bronze trophy, depending on your overall score!
The Seasonal Shop is now open! As promised, Snapdragon will not be the currency you will need to purchase anything. Everything will be available for BP and any user can enjoy the shop, regardless of if you participated in the event or not. The Seasonal Shop will be open until 11:59 PM AST on April 30th, so be sure to make all your purchases before then!
In honor of this joyous occasion, we will be having one, final Raffle Crystal raffle. The prize will be an Engagement Ring, which will marry two pets together! After this raffle, Raffle Crystals will be retired, though this does not mean we will no longer hold raffles in general. This raffle will run alongside the Seasonal Shop, until 11:59 PM AST on April 30th. You can find the raffle here.
This is also a reminder that the Spring Festival contests will remain open until 11:59 PM AST on April 30th. After this time, the contests will be closed, and the Egg Field will no longer require an egg to be deposited before picking one up sometime after this deadline.

"Oh my goodness, look at all of these little plush," Rowan commented, stars practically shining in her eyes. "You know, I've always heard about people collecting plush of their wives, but I never quite understood it until now," she continued as she smiled blissfully. "Thank you for your hard work; I'll be sure to find some use for all of these!"
Rowan walked off with a bit of a mischievous expression. Was there an ulterior motive to her creating a challenge where she could have many Minerva Plush..? The world may never know...
Congratulations to Rowan's Team for winning the final challenge! While there are no more challenges left to complete, the event isn't quite over yet! Exotic Pet Palace Stock

"As some of you may have noticed, my Exotic Pet Palace has received a new stock of pets! They're eager and awaiting new loving owners!"
In case you weren't aware, the Exotic Pet Palace is on a stock rotation schedule with the stock changing every 3 months. After the 3 months, the pets currently in stock will be permanently retired and a new stock will replace them. So get them while you can!
If you want to have the chance of getting a design of yours into the pet shop, go ahead and submit them to the Pet Coloration Submissions forum. Most of the submitted designs will be put into Adventure, but some random designs will be kept to go into the pet shop!
If your design is now in the pet shop please contact Lacia (#25044) for your free copy. That's right, if your design is accepted and put in the shop you get a free copy. That could save you a good amount of BP!

Snapdragon Ceremony: Challenge 5 Begins
Events
Despite everything seeming to be in order for the wedding, Rowan and Minerva stand before their teams, as they have for the beginning of the past challenges. Rowan's expression is nothing short of mischievous, while Minerva appears to be dreading whatever news they have to speak of.
"Thank you for you continued participation in Snapdragon Ceremony! It means so much to both of us that you all seemed invested in helping contribute to our special day," Rowan spoke cheerfully. "However, there is one last challenge for you all..." Her tone dipped down, as if she were beginning a horror story. "The last challenge is--"
"Wait, I'll tell them," Minerva interrupted Rowan, who began to pout slightly over not being able to recite her carefully rehearsed monologue. "You will have to... turn in Snapdragon for plush versions of ourselves," she began, preparing herself to deliver the bad news. "You will also have to... trade with the members of the opposing team."
"Oh come now, it's not that bad is it? It's all about making news friends, you know. Friends with plush benef--" Rowan was cut off by Minerva covering her mouth with her hand.
"I'm sure you'll find it annoying, but please try to help each other out, okay?" Minerva concluding, sighing heavily. Despite having volunteered to break the news, it seemed that it was not her idea.
It's the final challenge - and a challenge it is indeed! For this round, you will need to trade in any color Snapdragon for a plush version of your team leader. However, she doesn't want a plush of herself, but rather of her soon-to-be wife! You've worked as a team for the past few challenges, and now it's time to work together completely!
You will have until 6:30 PM AST on April 22nd to accumulate points for this challenge. This is also the final time that you will be able to convert your Satin Sheet and Stiletto items into Snapdragon, so be sure to keep an eye on the time!

"You haven't gotten tired of plucking all those snapdragon out of the ground, have you?" Rowan asked in a teasing manner. "I know it may be a hassle, but I promise it'll be over soon. After that, a beautiful wedding awaits!" she grinned, clapping her hands together. "Oh, but don't worry, we'll make sure everyone gets a little something for all the trouble."
Before giving any hints as to what the little something would be, Rowan quickly turns heel and heads off, seeming giddy.
Congratulations to Rowan's Team for winning the fourth challenge! Both teams will now be able to take a short break until the next challenge, which will begin at 6:30 AM AST on April 20th! Feel free to rest, strategize with your team, or return to your usual Aywas activities until then!

Snapdragon Ceremony: Challenge 4 Begins
Events
The venue was now unrecognizable in its current finished state. What once had started off as a humble room lacking even tables and chairs, now was not only adorned with furnishings and food, but music and magic. Floating candles hung in various areas around the ballroom, giving a soft inviting ambient glow. Cold embers from the faerie lights drifted in the air, illuminating the most charming of the decorations - the magical waterfall. The water's source appeared from nowhere, but seemingly endless as it filled a small pond now located in the ballroom. A brilliant chandelier hung over the dance floor.
Minerva smiled at the decorations, seemingly everything coming out far better than even she had anticipated. Rowan looked as though she had stars in her eyes, simply in awe of how beautiful everything was turning out.
It was truly a spectacular feat of design, but more than that, it was slowly becoming perfect.
Rowan pulled out a small notebook, and scratched off another 'challenge'. Minerva glanced over, attempting to peek to see what all remained. Rowan closed it with satisfaction. All that was left, of course, was dressing the brides. "No peeking!" Rowan joked.
"It isn't peeking if it's part of a planned and coordinated event." Minerva posted as a counterpoint. But she had already figured that likely it was getting themselves ready for the event. Dresses, make-up, getting their hair done...
It is clear what must be done to help the two brides out!
"By the way, we have 'yeeted' anyone who hasn't been participating thus far!" Rowan announced, pumping a fist into the air.
"Rowan... Please never say that again," Minerva cringed, gently pulling Rowan's arm back down to her side.
As Rowan mentioned, all users who have not contributed for the duration of the event to this point have been removed from your teams. It seemed there may have been some confusion after the previous news post, so hopefully this will clear it up: as long as everyone is contributing, it should be easy for your team to make it to the next color!
You will have until 6:30 PM AST on April 19th to accumulate points for your team for this challenge.

Site Update
That said, the staff of Aywas could use some help themselves and as such are making a call for Site Elves!
"But Account Number Two," you cry! "What's a site elf?"
Well, let's break it down since it's been a while.
Site elves are responsible for handling basic tasks on forums and with staff behind-the-scenes, including testing new features, greeting new users, answering help topics, and a whole lot more!
Once we feel an elf has progressed enough -- they're actively participating in discussions, active on the forums and PMs, and seem to have a pretty good handle on things -- then they'll be up for Moderator consideration and could be promoted if they want to be! Or, if they're more comfortable in the role they're already in, they can choose to stay a site elf. :)
"That sounds fun... But how do I apply?"
Excellent question and one I was hoping you'd ask! We have a nifty little Knowledge Base article that has all of the information needed to know the job and excel at it, as well as the application itself!

There is currently no deadline for sending in applications and no limit on how many staff is going to hire this round! We hope to see a few more green names around here soon!

"I have to say, I'm impressed with your determination!" Rowan grinned. "Thanks to your efforts, the ballroom is going to look so lovely... I know that Minerva will love it as well, even if she won't say it." She nodded slightly, then tilted her head to the side as if in thought. "You know, I hope she's doing alright. She takes a while to warm up to people, especially so after the greenhouse incidents."
With that said, Rowan wandered off. Perhaps she is going to check on Minerva.

Exotic Pet Palace Warning

"Hello everyone! I wanted to give you a bit of a heads up that I'll be changing the stock in my shop come April 21st! So if you want to own any of these pretty pets I currently am selling in the Exotic Pet Palace, you should buy them before April 21st. On April 21st, they will be permanently retired and new pets will take their place."
