There was a huge outpour of entries for this month's contest, much more than I've ever seen for a comparable contest. That's really impressive! But it made it super hard to narrow the entries down to nine possible contenders.

Art Gallery
Contests
The art gallery has been judged!
The theme was Create an Aywas-themed Cocktail/Beverage* and I was incredibly impressed by the entries we were inundated with. I discovered that not only are you skilled in replicating drinks and coming up with awesome new recipes, but you're also very creative with food & drink!
I seriously wanted to choose every entry as a winner, but alas, we have to stick to 6. ;~;

A Whole Bunch of Unbreedableness
Items
There are a lot of updates for the unbreedable custom makers.
The Shattered Custom items have all been renamed to Crystal Crumbs and given some new, shiny art! The cracked orbs also have some pretty new artwork (refresh if you don't see it).
After some consideration we have decided to drastically lower the prices for the unbreedable items to give users who don't need to breed their pets a way to enjoy custom artwork on the site at a much lower rate.
Here are the new prices for these items: 8 GP for Silver Crystal Crumbs, 3 GP for Gold, and 1 GP for Blue. Cracked Orbs are 100k BP for Blue and 500k for Gold.
These box items have been introduced to the GP Shop and open into a random 1 - 5 of their respective crystal crumbs.
We hope that the lowered prices will allow everyone to enjoy custom artwork on Aywas, especially if you don't necessarily need your pet to be breedable. However, as may be expected, there are two new rules for unbreedable Silver customs: they no longer come with free artwork from the SCC team, and they can only be made "breedable" with a Breedable Potion if they would have been Silver Potion acceptable.

Offsite Announcements
Site Update
We have two new offsite mechanisms for communicating unexpected downtime and other nasty little bugs. Well, one already existed, but we'll pretend for now it didn't.
First, is the Announcements Tumblr.
Second is the Announcements Twitter.
Both are very shiny and hooked into each other, so they'll both get the same announcements. Pick your favorite and follow it if you'd like to be alerted to any onsite maintenance that'll cause downtime or lag.
