First off, I'd like to apologize that this took so long. The initial software update was completed around noon today, but upon testing the site out we realized there was about three hours of information lost from the database. The backup process started sooner than we plan and the final synchronization did not sync the new information before starting the upgrades. We tried restoring the database from the old disk drive, but that resulted in corrupted information. So instead, we decided to just take the three hours of lost information to the unknown lost information from the corruption. Almost nine hours later, here we are.
The software update was important for Aywas because it not only closed potential vulnerabilities, it will allow us to look to the future of what we can now do for the site with our new software!
We're going to look into what we can do to try and recover the information from that three hour period (10pm - 1am), but in the mean time we decided to just enable the site again in the mean time. You may encounter some errors with the site (many of them being deprecated errors). Just report them to us and I'll work on getting them resolved as soon as I can. In the mean time I am going to try and get the staff together so we can begin discussing where we are going to go from here.

Server Upgrades
Site Update
The server upgrades that we warned about in the beginning of June are going to commence tonight. Starting at 1:00 AM Aywas Time, the server may go down at any time. We will be keeping the game online as long as we can but anticipate that the game will not be available to play for most of tonight and possibly some of the next morning.
If you have any commission info, stuff you need in messages, etc. be sure to grab it before the server starts going down so you have something to occupy you for the time it is offline.
The server upgrades are major and we have no way of knowing how long the downtime will last. Even the server company does not know. So we just have to go through them and see each other on the other side!

Adventure Updates

We have a rather small round of Adventure updates for you guys, including some new items. So please read on below!
Ooh... what's this shiny do?
First up is the Gem of Attributes. This gently glowing stone will reset your active pet's Attack/Speed/Toughness points, allowing you to re-assign your pet's attributes without resetting their Adventure level. This means if you capture a pet who has the level you want, but maybe it's speed skill isn't as high as you'd like, you can use this item on your pet and re-assign those attribute points at your discretion.
You can pick up this item in the BP Shop for the same price as the Vial of the Battle Soul.
Next we have a user-suggested item in the same vein of adventure attributes for pets!
Gotta go fast!
The Speed Potion! As it's name suggests, this item will increase your active pet's "Speed" stat by 1 point! You can find this item restocking once in awhile in Draconic Creations!
Following now are some small updates/fixes!
The Berry Burst Pani has decided to move into the Bamboo Forest. This change was due to the fact that the region lacked a Legendary Rare, making some issues occur when users used certain items. This should now prevent those issues! Hurray for Berry Burst Pani, our hero!
"Noooo, I liked being hidden in my bambooooo..."
Much to the Green Bamboo Geist's dismay, we have fixed the issue that caused it's image to disappear upon appearing in user's lairs. If your pet is still suffering from a lack of image after this fix, please PM me!
And finally...
Magic Quest feature is almost ready to be released back for users to enjoy once more. We're making some last few bug fixes and tweaks, and then it's new KB article. This did take longer than expected, and for that I apologize. There was a few kinks in the system we didn't expect totally due to the fact that so much time had passed between magic quest was taken down and now. But it is almost here for users to enjoy!

What is that lurking in the Bamboo....?
BamBOOOOooooooOOOOoooooo.....
Ahh! We can't possibly close the Bamboo Forest while there is monsters lurking around! Thankfully, our Slashbotee's have used Another Slashbot and made the Bamboo Forest a permanent Ay Adventure Zone! The zone has seen a buff so grab your gear and your higher level pets and get in there and protect the pandas! As mentioned, this region is Ay and some of you may have noticed, but we attempted to only put Ay related pets in there to begin with, which is why the Seasonal Shop was so stocked.
It seems some NPC's has moved into the Bamboo Forest with some quests too, but can you really blame them? It's pretty gorgeous in there.
We also added a new Museum Collection for the Bamboo Forest, sorry for dodging this question earlier in the news comments, I had to try to avoid spoilers <3 Should you complete this Collection you will win yourself a Small Bronze SCC Pen Good luck!
Speaking of collections, you monster collectors will be happy to know that you can capture the monsters, however they will not be added to the 'Museum Collection' at this moment, as that will end up adjusting the requirements needed for users to unlock the Monster Certification Skill, which isn't what we want to do.
We already have plans to make a visible checklist in the Monster Collection for people to view what monsters they do or do not have, like a Monster Aywapedia. However, it has to be coded to avoid the aforementioned problem
