Items reimbursement

Pets

Since I peared your inventories, I'll be adding 10,000 BP to all accounts. =D Hopefully this should be enough as an average reimbursement. Besides Zave will feed all your pets to 100% once a day when the coder gets on to implement that =) Right now Zave's being spanked by Kaz though. *snicker*

I put a lot of work into keeping items in case I needed them for a quest. *sighs* I just say lower how many items there are. Like only one item that give your pet 5 points of something instead of 3? I like collecting though. I am a pack rat and I didn't join for art and stories, I joined for pets. I am pet obsessed...

I luv ya Nodai, but that's really not fair. =P Just because I don't have a character for every pet of mine, that doesn't mean I don't care for them as much as I would if they were one. And not EVERYBODY joins pet sites to make characters for their pets. I LOVE collecting. I think the site should be about whatever the /users themselves/ want it to be about. ^^; Saying OH YOU HAVE TO DO ART AND MAKE STORIES isn't fair.

;-; There is no way 10k reimburses all of my carefully-collected low point energy items that were deleted, considering how the food shop thinks they're worth 1k per point. No. Thanks for trying, but. No. x_x

YAY! ...Oh noes! Not Zave! *Shakes fist at Kaz!* He's to sweet and adorable to get punished. AND AT YOU SILLY PEOPLES. Collecting is stupid. That isn't what the site should be about. ART. ART. ART. ART. Write stories. Develop your pets into characters. Code petpages for them. Make profiles. Draw artwork. If you don't have faith in your own skills to do writings or drawings for their characters, then comission artists to do so. And then an economy stressing SKILL will be created. Those whose skills lay in obsessive money gathering will fuel those whose skills lay in art, who will then buy back items from the obsessives. TADA. PROBLEM SOLVED. Duh.

Also, I agree with Firestar, and anybody else who has said it. If collecting on a collecting site kills the site, then what do we have? x_x There's got to be some way to fix things so we're able to collect /all/ of the pets/items we want to, I think having a set amount of pets/items we could have would be a little silly. :/ I don't know what the fix would be, as I am not a coder, but it should work, right? I mean, look at places like Wajas D: You can have THOUSANDS of pets, and it works (relatively...) fine.

Wasn't sure which news post to put this on. xD; Anyway, are there other little things we users could fix (besides item and pet deleting) that would help the server? Some things I've been thinking about: STOP new members from joining, until Beta. 700 members for pre-alpha seems like a LOT. We have like 30 new members join a day, which leads to more pets being captured, more items in the system, etc. Also, be stricter on forum posts, especially in Bugs and Help. I see the same questions get asked EVERY DAY because I don't think people have looked past the first page. Maybe make a "General Bugs/Help" sticky, to take down unneeded posts? Just a few ideas to help.

I still needed that stuff and that is nowhere near covering it, but whatever...I can try to get them again for my quest. -is happy and annoyed at the same time- welcome to lesson number one Slash you can't make everyone happy XD

I posted on the forums. I do not see how this solves the problem as the current game mechanics are centered around collecting. Collecting pets, collecting items.....
