Hello again, Aywas!
After leaving the poll up for the full weekend, waiting until votes slowed and we felt we had gotten as many votes as we could, it's been decided that all Breeding Pendants will become predict-only. We will be giving a grace period of until 12:00 am, August 1st for users to submit any last breedings with the pendants before we turn them over to predicts. If you have a current Pendant breeding in queue, it will not be affected by this change; this decision is only for Pendant breedings going forward starting August 1st.
With this change, however, we wanted to make predictions a little more enticing for our users, so we're announcing updated and new kickbacks!
Some have been updated, such as Breeding Coins going from 10 GP to 25 GP. Some have been added, including Sketch and Scribble which give 7 and 12 GP respectively! None have been lowered, though some remain the same.
We'll be working on including these in the Knowledge Base, so be on the lookout for that! Until then, however, here's the full list of Breeding kickbacks;

• Metal Breeding Coin/Pendant - 500,000 BP + 5 GP
• Holiday Mistletoe, Lesser Breeding Coin/Pendant, Mininogg, Painted Lesser Breeding Coin, Painted Metal Breeding Coin, Speed Dating Slip - 5 GP
• Rusted Breeding Coin - 3 GP
• Half Lesser Breeding Coin - 2 GP
• Radioactive Breeding Coin/Pendant - 150,000 BP
• Derp Breeding Coin - 60,000 BP
These new kickbacks will take effect immediately!
There will be more announcements forthcoming, but we still need a little bit of time to work them out so that it's fair and benefits everyone, so stay tuned over the next couple of months!

There are more pendants that radioactive and those ones that require difficult artistic input are blown out beyond belief. I am talking about lesser breeding pendants, breeding pendants, and holiday breeding pendants. Mutants can be done in any old cheap art program that has transparency so its often an idea to like... do it yourself. They’re meme pets they aren’t meant to be fantastic quality lmao

I just think that there was a better option out there that would of made everyone happy other than Predicts.
I wouldn't know as I am not an artist, but I will say that 98% of the mutants I have gotten back have been awesome eg. https://www.aywas.com/pp/view/11884431/

Lol. There's definitely no plan at all to revive this site. Most of the money made on this site came from non-artists who came to pay for things they could not make on their own. Artists inflated GP, because they were paid more than enough to never need cash on site while other users paid real money for GP to pay artists. An artist doesn't NEED a site of artists to make babies from imaginary pets. They can do that their selves at home. So, this site cut out the people who actually spend any money! Every plan to "save" the site has done more to kill it than save it for over 5 years now. Everything we came to spend money on has been nixed at this point. There's literally nothing else worth putting money into the site for most people anymore.
The pendants were the last thing I was coming back for. Now, there's just staring at my lair and remembering the olden days... Those included add-ons like seeds that I spent real money on in the past. The site has been ignoring its users for awhile, and it's paying for it. How many users are on daily anymore? Only a tiny fraction of what we used to get. How many bother spending money anymore? For this very reason.
As another user said, the site has an idea in mind and intended to do it regardless of what people wanted, because most people were against this, and the poll was set up to ensure that one option won. Everyone can see that the majority did vote against this option when every other option said something outside of it.
In reality, most people supported more than one viable option; lessening the number of pendants with trade ins, making predict only pendants available to trade in for, and extending the regeneration time for other pendants. All 3 combined would make a difference.
This decision is short sighted and is not a real long term plan to do anything. It's mostly defensive rather than proactive, and that does not work in business at all.
Meanwhile, young potential customers are off playing breedable games like Pixel Petz on smart phones. Take a look at that and laugh at what Aywas is losing business to, because it's not adjusting to what the market actually wants or needs. I roll my eyes every time I see one of those things... Over 4.5 stars with over 21,564 reviews. Sad.

I will add that I think the incentives are nice.
Also, most people drawn to sites like this who spend money impulsively would be teens and youths who do not have tablets/programs/equipment or skills to make their own babies. There's a reason why most commercials targeted children in the 90's, it's because they pressure parents to spend $$$$$.

Very disappointed with how this turned out. While yes it would be more of an issue later on down the line it pushes non-artists more and more off the site who are needed to fund the artists for the predicts. I'm fine with a predict only pendant but I really do feel for those who are unable to do them. A trade in and other things would have been so much better than basically having them feel like they don't matter.
Also kind of disappointed this hit the RBCs because I liked to yolo mutants instead of saving them up for PPP to never actually finish.

You cant compare a mobile game that auto generates pets with a site that relies on people to make CUSTOM designs. Pendants were short sighted when released. Maybe one day the can be turned nonpredict again, but for now? They were killing the site.

I .... will probably finally quit Aywas after this as I can't do original art and I doubt many people will be buying slots to use of their original art as well.
It was fun while it lasted. Not sure if I just keep my PBP as a memento now or something.
