The winning HA sets have been placed into their respective shops, and will be in stock until 11:59pm AST on June 7th!
At the time of the poll closing, there were two entries tied for third place - and so both have been placed into the Premium Outlet shop.
If this has a serious affect on the sales then it may be in the future that staff will choose between the two tied entries.
The HA Contest has been with us for a long time, and as the years have gone on it's gained fewer and fewer entrants. Having noticed this downward trend for a while we've tried to think of ways to improve the feature, but ultimately not come up with anything that we feel would be concrete.
So that's where you come in!
I've made a thread in the Suggestions forum for you to come and lend us a hand. We want to hear all your ideas on how to make this contest fairer, more fun, and more worthwhile to people.
Please remain respectful, but feel free to throw out even your wackiest ideas.
The sad part of the above thread is that at the close of the current round, we will be disabling the HA contest until we've had time to analyse the data, look at your ideas, and see what we can do to improve the game.
It's not forever, but it may be for some time.
I know this will be upsetting to those of you that enjoy the contest, but I promise to bring you something bigger and better when it does come back.

I mean there are always more sets that are entered then the ones picked each month, and a lot of the time those extra ones never get used. Maybe look at past contests and see 2nd and 3rd place sets, reach out to the creators if the set is still available, and then have those going forward.

I'm so happy there's 4 sets instead of 3, I absolutely love all of this set's entries!
But what does "If this has a serious affect on the sales" mean? Should we buy more or less sets for it to not affect the sales in a bad way? o.o

Eve (#2775) oh you DO mean the weekly HA thing.... So the monthly HA contests will continue!? (There have been fewer and fewer of those too, and I think dax's suggestion in the linked thread, about someone who won the basing one month not being allowed to participate with a base the next is a good one. I know Gwen always did it that way voluntarily... But perhaps it can be allowed when the next contest is themed - if you mix themed and non-themed; a bit like the art gallery used to be done...)

Gale Falcon 🎐 (#74974) - I'm not anticipating a big issue here, but I have to be prepared for all eventualities and I wanted to be up front about it because this is the first time we've had a tied set and we don't know how that may affect things. If some problem does arise that makes it seem that should a tie happen again that we should choose one and not have an extra set, then I'd rather be up front now that our solution would be for staff to privately vote between the two to award placement. But, again, I'm hoping everything will be fine and that it was just a precautionary line that we don't have to worry about ^^
♑ Voluspa ♑ (#67552) - Yes, I linked the HA Contest I want discussion on in order to hopefully steer people towards knowing I meant that contest XD; Unfortunately while Dax's idea is good, and I do agree it would be preferable and was something I was going to institute if the numbers we had entering continued, but sadly we simply don't have enough basing artists for that to be an option any more. When Gwenn used to enter we had a lot of basing artists, but alas not even Gwenn enters now. If I put a theme on it the entries are often loosely based at best, so that doesn't tend to do much either lol.

I am sad that the weekly HA contest has been disabled since it was fun and a great way to make SP for those who aren't good with art stuff. However I understand why and it probably has needed some overhaul for a bit now. I will think of some ideas and post them later and look forward to see what we all come up with. :)
