Snapdragon Ceremony: Challenge 4 Begins

Events

The venue was now unrecognizable in its current finished state. What once had started off as a humble room lacking even tables and chairs, now was not only adorned with furnishings and food, but music and magic. Floating candles hung in various areas around the ballroom, giving a soft inviting ambient glow. Cold embers from the faerie lights drifted in the air, illuminating the most charming of the decorations - the magical waterfall. The water's source appeared from nowhere, but seemingly endless as it filled a small pond now located in the ballroom. A brilliant chandelier hung over the dance floor.

Minerva smiled at the decorations, seemingly everything coming out far better than even she had anticipated. Rowan looked as though she had stars in her eyes, simply in awe of how beautiful everything was turning out.

It was truly a spectacular feat of design, but more than that, it was slowly becoming perfect.

Rowan pulled out a small notebook, and scratched off another 'challenge'. Minerva glanced over, attempting to peek to see what all remained. Rowan closed it with satisfaction. All that was left, of course, was dressing the brides. "No peeking!" Rowan joked.

"It isn't peeking if it's part of a planned and coordinated event." Minerva posted as a counterpoint. But she had already figured that likely it was getting themselves ready for the event. Dresses, make-up, getting their hair done...

It is clear what must be done to help the two brides out!

"By the way, we have 'yeeted' anyone who hasn't been participating thus far!" Rowan announced, pumping a fist into the air.

"Rowan... Please never say that again," Minerva cringed, gently pulling Rowan's arm back down to her side.

As Rowan mentioned, all users who have not contributed for the duration of the event to this point have been removed from your teams. It seemed there may have been some confusion after the previous news post, so hopefully this will clear it up: as long as everyone is contributing, it should be easy for your team to make it to the next color!

You will have until 6:30 PM AST on April 19th to accumulate points for your team for this challenge.

May I ask how many users are on each team now? c:

Yeah, knowing the ppls count on each team is vital for calculating chances (I hope next events have counters like that) :3

yes, this event and how the points are tallied seems to very confusing. I mean it shows Minerva having more points, but becuase there are more people on the team they don't count for as much ... idk they should just be counted evenly. it seems really unbalanced and kinda up in the air that you are contributing to what seems like the one with the larger point total only to be told at the end sorry the other team actually won... while this event theme is a lot of fun the actual way to participate and the ability to collect the items to participte with seems a little off. It always seems like poeople who don't do anything but sit and play games on the comptuer have the advantage over people who have full time jobs or go to school and can't spend hours at a time adventuring to maybe get 2 or 3 snapdragons that your teem no longer needs the colour of any more.

We are taking feedback into consideration for future events. This is a new way for an event to go - for everyone involved, including staff - so there is a definite learning curve here and we have lots of information and feedback so far that we will be taking into account for things we do in the future!

The main feature of aywas aside from breeding is adventure. I will never understand why so many people always complain about it being utilized for events. Yes, grinding is hard sometimes but thatā€™s why they made alchemy available as well. I just hope that if this style of team is used again they cut non participation people quicker than a third round.

I was one of the people cut, and I get where everyone is coming from, even if I don't completely agree with rounds, but having the time now but not the ability to participate is frustrating. If you leave people on but make even 1 contribution count for being part of a team or game, then you could disallow the distribution of prizes or badges for participating would be more helpful than cutting people out for personal situations or unmanageable schedules. I do want to participate but I don't get to choose when.

Thanks for clarifying, as many people have said it's hard to find the snapdragons locations and any at all, when they are requested. I try to contribute more but all I can do is click for hours and go with what I can.

How do you tell if you are still on the team or not?

You'll be able to donate here:

We apologize, but people were also given 11 days (a majority of the event, as it is only planned to run for 16 days total), from the 5th-16th, to participate before being removed for non-participation. In order to stay on a team all you needed to do was donate 1 Snapdragon, but people that were not donating anything at all were hurting their team due to the way we decided to calculate scores for this Event. You are still able to collect Snapdragons and sell them to other players!

Not happy at all. I've been checking in every day hoping to participate for my team but I never understood how to get snapdragons other than via alchemy, and all the satin and shoes were snatched up from player stores (including my own) before most people even had a chance to read the first news post about the event. Maybe next time explain the logistics of the events more clearly.
