Howdy Aywans, Marie here!
It's almost time for our Black Friday extravaganza! I'm beginning the work of uploading the amazing exotics that our artists have completed for you, however we've run into a little snag.
Due to some storms for some of our staff members, exotics are still able to be claimed with Mayday eggs.
***Be warned that ANYONE that claims an exotic with a Mayday egg will earn themselves an automatic one month ban and the pet will be revoked and your egg will not be refunded.***
Start your shopping lists now, but remember, until the Black Friday event starts, you can look but you can't touch!

OK, so exotics CAN be claimed with MayDay eggs. BUT if you do, you will get a 1 month ban, the pet will be revoked and the egg not refunded.
If that is the case, then shouldn't it say exotics are NOT able to be claimed with MayDay eggs???

They're saying exotics are physically capable of being grabbed with an older egg item(usually we get a new one each year?) so they are saying while you technically CAN grab one early if you have the egg, you are not allowed to.

LaBella I Treat (#42293) what theyre trying to say is that theres an accidental glitch in the system that makes it possible to claim exotics with MayDay eggs when it shouldn't be possible. Instead of fixing the glitch, theyre just going to prevent people from taking advantage of it by punishing.

Then THAT is what they should say and be completely clear instead of saying two completely different things at once and expect everyone to know that there is a technical issue that will be bad for those trying to exploit it. Because that is NOT what the post is saying. I keep saying again and again, that there is an issue with effective communication on this site. This highlights it

LaBella I Treat (#42293) Could you explain why the wording seems weird? It reads very clearly, to me at least, that you shouldn't use a Mayday Egg on a Black Friday exotic and that if you do then there will be repercussions. :0 There isn't anything contradictory there, as far as I can tell.

What does this say? What does due to some storms? That doesn't mean ANYTHING, or rather it can mean several things. It COULD mean that some staff members are having difficulties and they are leaving this open to help those staff members. It COULD mean that there are difficulties in the lives of the staff that would handle this, but it's not an issue, leave it open for now. Or that there is a glitch.
Obviously, with more information, there is a glitch. But NONE of that is clear in the first sentence that CLEARLY says you can claim an exotic.
Effective communication would have been to FIRST post

THEN to post there is a glitch we have not resolved that allows you to do this, but this is what will happen if you try, as it will be breaking the rule about exploiting loopholes and glitches.
Not start off by saying you can do this. And then saying you cannot do the thing we just said you could do.
