I don't know, JScofi, there's a lot to be said about more simple staple items that you can use with various outfits. I personally would be quite happy with a good basic pyjama set, or nicely done sweater and jeans. Not all of us want to be a fairy, princess, or mighty warrior, no matter how lovely those sets are to look at ^^

As Eve mentions, good basic wear is actually incredible useful for HA-enthusiasts.
Good shoes, boots and belts are for instance some of the things most hard to find when making outfits from pieces from several sets. And Aywas really could do with some more non-fantasy clothing.
Oh, and congrats Kei. I predict we'll see that pretty flower background a lot for the next few months. :)

I have to admit tho. I really like the cherry blossom tree. I can see myself incorporating that into a lot of different ha outfits.

I think that this set is beautiful :) But I also agree with Eve and Gwennafran, that basics are also useful :) Personally, I just vote for whichever set I think I could use more. I voted for this one because I liked the tree and thought that I could use it in multiple ways. However, I am now motivated to draw some basics!

I'll take fairy, princess, or mighty warrior over basic any day, haha. I can already be basic in my real life, why would I want to dress up my HA that way, too? ;P

I like more basic items... they are easier to mix n match with other HA items and hair styles.... there have been a number of cool monthly sets that look nice but I hardly buy them because they don't look like a complete outfit (like no shoes for example) or they are really very detailed colouring / pattern (especially the "sparkly" or galaxy ones) that match absolutely nothing else on the site but the set ... so it's not really useful for making a unique outfit when they only look good with the pieces in the set it came with...

That being said I was really rooting for the one with the bird. I hope it's either submitted for the Holiday Shop or comes back next month again. The bird is so pretty.
