Happy Friday~ I have several points I would like to touch on today so I will try to divide things up by category!
First up is USD Sales!
There seemed to be quite a bit of a positive reaction to our last sale, so we have decided to do Random Sales! They are not set by schedule, just by what we see around the forums and users reactions.
This sale will last 1 Week, until Friday, September 2nd at 11:59pm AST.
You will be able to find the Painted Gold and Painted Gold Pile on sale for $5 and $14 respectively!
The Greater Lifeseed has been dropped to $25!
Fox Net and Snake Trap have both been dropped to $4 to try to help clear out the boxes a little bit.
Updates
There are a few changes we would like to make everyone aware of:
The Grand Edit Potion has had its price raised to $30 to better reflect the pay the artists receive. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes!
We are also looking for more SCC Panel artists! If we get enough new artists, we may do a SCC sale to help celebrate!
We also realized there was something not well clarified in any Knowledge Base article regarding alt-hybrids.
When an alt-hybrid is bred to another alt-hybrid, or any other genus without a Magic Custom Trove being attached, there is only a slim chance to produce another alt-hybrid. Typically it will produce a baby of normal lines respective to the parent genera. Since this was not clarified well, we will honor any breedings currently in queue prior to this news post that do not have a trove attached.
I would like to take this moment to wish a congratulations to Rudy (#4485) for becoming our next Super Mod! You may have noticed she has taken over many of the literary-based responsibilities around the site, and she is also going to be helping me with Slashbot in the future.
Speaking of Moderators, we know it has been a long time since we put out Moderator Applications, so we are opening them again! Please visit the linked news post for information! If you have already applied in the last batch, please do not reapply. We will be contacting potential Moderators shortly!

I assume the alt hybrid change is for BC only? So if you breed two alt-line quetzals, you'll probably get a quetzal on the current lines instead of another alt-line quetzal?

Super Mods are basically regular Mods that run specific features or aspects of the site that regular mods might not have access to, or they work very closely with an Admin, or both! (:

You can still breed them via Painted coins but I have no idea about LBCs because I'm awful. >.> You'd have to pm Mauri at #1010 to find out for sure.
