Raw R-Update

Site Update

magic_rawgoldcrystal.png
This is just a quick announcement to inform everyone that we have made some amendments to the post from this morning!

Since the Horuset and Mephis have been with us for so long, and we are quite the ways past where they were supposed to be retired, we've decided to allow you to submit your customs for them until Saturday, March 5th at 11:59pm
Please be aware that in the future you will only have a 24 hour warning for the raws, as we are getting back on schedule

We also did have a typo, and the Ramrin is actually available to create until May 1st, at 11:59pm Giving us two months to enjoy the happy, fluffy critter.

We also have fixed our newcomers not showing up under their appropriate items when you go to create them! Shantu's should now be available under all Ay Crystals, Ramrin available in Raw Crystals, and Alaroo for the tokens.

Sorry about the confusion!

While we are here, how about a few coding updates?

The high scores that didn't reset should all be fixed now, and we're going to be monitoring them to ensure they continue resetting on their own next months!

Drinking Game breedings from February onwards will be automatically paired and submitted as eggnog breedings instead of manually being handled behind the scenes. We’re still working on the backlog from before February and we’re catching up fast.

Thank you for the fix on the Horuset and Mephis. Going forward it would be nice to get a 1 week reminder of when the cut off is.

ChaosAzeroth (#43055) From the news post: "Drinking Game breedings from February onwards" So yes <3 Any from february onwards will be processed this way.

BSM Pidgey [LL] (#16) be glad that Eve came up with a better name, I was gonna name it Raw Madness.

Taena (LLs) (#66637) In the past, when Raws were on schedule, they were normally only given a 24 hour to 48 hour warning, and we will be returning to this with the current and future sets.

Kaiyo (#489) I know that's how it was done in the past. My self and others have suggested that it be extended to maybe a week just so any one who has an open commission on a custom can remind artists and such so there is no last minute rush to finish things and all. It would be nice to have more than a day's notice. I mean Before this fix we actually had less than 24 hours (about 22 hours since the post was made at 2 AM ish). So if going forward the "reminder" was put in a post a week ahead of time it would give more people time to finish things up and all with out feeling rushed.

To be fair these pets have been around almost a year. So its really crazy to me to be nitpicking over a day warning, when they were supposed to be retired months and months ago.

Kaiyo (#489) I think it is kind of rude that my suggestion topic was locked when more than one person agreed that more than 24 hr notice would be nice and going forward we would like a week's notice as a reminder. This issue is not just about this month's change but when the next change comes out we would like a one week reminder not 24-48 hours and again the month after that, that's why we made a suggestion thread to change what you guys have done in the past, so that going forward it might be handled in a different manner.

Ancient Mew(Sylver) (#31969) Yes it is true that they were around for a while, but many people had commissions that had not been finished yet. We had made a thread in the sugestions section asking if going forward when a change was about to happen we could get a 1 week notice rather than 24 hours, but after this news post went up the thread was locked, as I think the mods thought we were just talking about this particular month. When in fact we were asking for the "reminder" time to be given a week ahead of time going forward from now on, rather than 24-48 hours so that people could finish projects and things up with out feeling rushed. Not a one time thing, but a change in how they handled the process of introducing new raw pets.
