GCC Team Notice

Site Update

This is a notice that the GCC team is required to produce designs that are 75% or under. If you receive a design from the GCC team that is classified as silver, the artist is required to fix it for you. If you cannot get your artist to fix the design for you in a reasonable amount of time so that it is gold, contact a moderator.

If the requester asks, however, for it to be silver or blue, then is that an exception?

Thought this was obvious, but apparently not. Glad to see staff making an official notice about it, though. =)

It's nice to have this addressed in an official post, since it's something some folks seem to have been struggling with with the GCC deal. Thank you Slash!

I'd just like to point out that with Crystal Check down, it's a /bit/ difficult to receive an official response about the edit percentage. So I can see that as being a problem some of the team has. They have to assume or hope someone else can give them a response, although it isn't the official response. Same goes for the designs classified too 'humanoid'. The team can't fix accordingly before the deadline if they can't have crystal check's help. :C

Super glad for this post! I don't want anyone afraid to tell me to fix anything I might accidentally make silver. ;;

I've run into this once or twice, as an artist on the team. I thought it was already an implied rule that we have to edit things to fit Gold? Either way, at least now with an official rule there's no worries about it because I did have one very nice person tell me they were hesitant about bothering over changing the design. Which of course is no bother at all; hopefully people won't be as hesitant about contacting the artists now if they need to.

So gold is less than silver?

Shadows of the Dark (#43304)
Yes. Gold is up to 75%. Silver is higher.

That makes sense! Thanks for clearing up my confusion ;)

I agree with two nerds and Dee (#4138). I may not have the best eye when it comes to percentages, but if I say I'll give someone an x% design, I want to make sure it passes for that, even if I have edit it.
