Ho, ho, ho! Merry Aymas to all!
The Seasonal Shop has opened its doors and is inviting you in with the smell of freshly baked cookies!
The Seasonal Shop will be open through January 5, 2015 at 11:59 p.m., a full week (plus a little extra)!
You can adventure in the Holiday Lane until January 4th, giving you ample time to snag what you need from the area. :)
Grab a North Pole Slushie or some hot cocoa and something cuddly, because I'm about to tell you a Seasonal Shop story!
We have four new fauna friends joining us from the north!
The Lynx, Puffin, Mountain Goat, and Blue Whale will keep your pets company long after the Holiday Lane closes, but they do love the snow, so we advise keeping them in chillier parts of your lair. A trip to the arctic might also be in order!
If you're going to be doing any traveling, you'll need to pack some refreshments... but you'll probably want to try another shop if you're looking for something with a lot of substance and protein, because we've got mostly sweets and alcohol! Above you'll find a Party Loaf for hungry guests, along with Candy Cane Twists (one of my favorite cookies), and an impressive Sugar Sculpture for an energy boost. If you need a little something extra in your beverage to get through the season, you might like the Sugarplum Cocktail or the Drunk Gingerbread Man! (If you want whatever the Gingerbread Man is drinking, you better snag those quick before he finishes the glass.)
We also have new clothing and accessories for your HA, whether you are planning on attending an ugly holiday sweater party or are taking an actual holiday to somewhere snowy!
The item Grandma's Bin contains a Deer Sweater, Snowman Knit, and Festive Vest--all of which I want to own IRL.
The Ski and Snowboard Trunk contains a snowsuit, snowboard, skis, goggles, gloves, and boots to get you ready for extreme snow sports!

Speaking of being active out in the elements, we have three new weaponry pieces that will help you conquer Adventure and help protect your holiday haul! The Toy Train, Birch Bark Shield, and literal Ice Axe will offer you various bonuses in speed, toughness, power, and elemental resistance. Check out their item database entries for full stat details.
If you'd rather have adventures at the Standing Stones, I have a couple of items that might interest you!
The Cool Blue Pet Carrier and Wrapped Gift Box are both breeding add-ons with varying compatibility.
The Cool Blue Pet Carrier is an LBC/MBC-compatible breeding add-on that tells your breeding artist to use cool colors (blues, greens, and purples) on the offspring.
The Wrapped Gift Box is a BC/HBC-compatible breeding add-on that tells the breeding artist to add wrapping paper and/or ribbon-themed edits to your offspring. After all, all babbies are gifts!
Now, if your travels take you to the forums, we also have a couple new forum title/achievements for you to unlock! The Aurora Borealis will unlock the forum title "Dreaming in Color" which fades from purple to blue to green (you can take a look at any of my posts to see this), and the Coastal Wreath will unlock the forum title "Sandy Holidays" in the default text color.
I'd imagine that your pets will be accompanying you on any journeys this holiday season, but I'd suggest using a different mode of transportation than the pet carriers above, as they will all alter your pet in some way!
The Green Pet Carrier will randomly change your active pet into one from the Holiday Lane this year.
The Gold Pet Carrier will change your active pet into one of 6 exclusive hybrids/rares at random. I won't post the images here in case you want to be surprised, but the possibilities are: Winter Sunset Vion, Chocolate Holly Roll Koaf, Snow Keeper Ennae, Tin Soldier Alatus, Gift Giving Lunaris, and Tiny Gift Pluma.
The Red Pet Carrier will turn your active pet into a random coloration from the 2014 Aymas Seasonal Shop!

Brilliant job on the pets this year (and every year)! <3 Most of the ones that are stocking the Seasonal Shop were submitted by the community, so thank you for helping us keep the Aywapedia as incredible as it is!
If you're itching to create even more festive pets, you're in luck, since we have two custom-creating items for you!
Returning from last year are the Ice Rocks, which will allow you to create a Winter Soli shopkeeper custom with up to 30% edits. As always, you can also create the default shopkeeper image (depicted above) if you'd like a copy of it in your lair.

And finally, we have the very special Triple Heart Potion, which will allow you to create one of the 2014 Holiday Shopkeepers with up to 30% edits. Without further ado, I am super excited to show you our three new shopkeepers--a Raffi, Yena, and Ryba!

I think that just about does it, folks! I just have a few quick notes for you to keep in mind:
- Note that items/pets may take around 60 seconds to show up in your inventory/lair since you are "crafting" them with your Candy Canes and Snowflakes!
- If you encounter any problems with the Seasonal Shop or any of the items/pets, post a glitch thread and a staff member or Yasu will check it out to ensure our elves didn't booby-trap anything.
- I have a final batch of Adventure pets to upload, and expect to add those tomorrow. n_n

I didn't do much in holiday lane xD i should have!
It just gets monotnous after a while clicking through everything that i go off to do something else and forget about it xD i did almost have enough to buy that heart potion though! I only had to buy one extra cnady cane from someone to be able to buy it =D
