So, for a while I have been debating the hybrid breeding of Melo x Soli. Currently you have a 50/50 chance of getting either a Quetzel or a Kyre, but many people like one over the other and feel disappointed when they get the wrong hybrid pet.
I have long been considering switching the Kyre to being Oakl x Soli. That way, when you breed a melo x soli you will ALWAYS get a quetzal, and when you get oakl x soli you will ALWAYS get a kyre.
Voice your opinion.

Umm a kirin is a japanese deer x fish (roughly so why not have it be melo and gael?

Considering the price of breeding coins, either in real dollars or time spend getting the game money, I think it's only fair to get what you want :)

Melo and oakl also just makes more sense, though some people would probably want some sort of crystal that allows oakl lineart edits :P

I agree Id iike to know just what im going to get. I do like surprises but not disappointment. if i wanted one and just got the other breed that would be a disappointment.

Melo and Oakl makes more sense, but considering how expensive BCs are already, and then considering how Oakls can't be made into customs at all unless you have SP... it would make getting a Kyre seem almost impossible to the people who are unable to spend 29837498274 hours and money trying to make it to the top ten list of something... plus it wouldn't make sense for one hybrid to be THAT much harder to get than the other three? o_o I dunno, just throwing that out there.

Dang. I like being able to choose (though I think Kyres would make more sense coming from SOLIS x Oakls, because otherwise where do the scales come from?), but it would totally wreck my plans for a gen 2 Soli and one of my Melos that would make an amazing Kyre. Ugh, I hate decision.
Maybe the colorist could just message us and ask which we prefer? I dunno.

Couldn't we keep it soli x melo & just be given the option of what we'd prefer? Like: kyre, quetzal, & surprise me!

I think this is an awesome idea plus the amount of variety that oakls could bring to the kyre breed in general... it makes a lot of sense. I say go for it! :3
