Congratulations to the winner, went to read it and it's a well-written piece. c: I understood the end time given, so no complaints there, but I'm a little disappointed I didn't realize you were allowed multiple posts for your entry at the time I posted mine. :[ I was trying to keep it squished into one so it was really short and without details. Alas, live and learn. Hopefully there will be a next time?

Also, different people have different understandings of midnight, obviously. Midnight is the middle of the night, which makes most people think the end of the day rather than the beginning. I can definitely understand how there was confusion over the end time, as I was amongst those expecting the contest to end tonight, so maybe a more definitive time for future contests would be better. I.E. "12:00 AM Wednesday" rather than "Midnight Wednesday".

That's the thing Tai & Yoko. Slash posted on Tuesday that it ends at midnight Wednesday. If it was midnight tonight, it wouldn't be Wednesday anymore. It'd be Thursday.
*shrugs* I always think of midnight as the beginning of the new day. When it's 12:00 am, look at your computer date. It'll say 12:00 AM Wednesday. (Or 12:00 AM Thursday tonight). Then it turns into 12:01 AM Wednesday (Thursday). Midnight=12 AM. Though I guess it could be confusing to some?

if it was midnight back then, then why you post has the dat of wednesday? duh
