Hey, what's up?
I'm excited to announce that our original pet artist redrew our Vyne!! Now it matches the other pets ... wooooo! :)
Obviously, this is going to require some recolors. We have set up a thread where you can submit recolors of the vynes on the new lineart. If your recolor is high quality and accepted by BJ, you'll not only receive a copy of the vyne but 2 GP to go along with it.
Also, the vyne at the top is the Gold Tipped Lotus Vyne. Ten of these will be released on the site - post your favorite thing about the new vyne to try for one of these Gold Tipped Lotuses!

It's so... glorious... *worships the artist*
My favorite thing is imagining my Deli-baby in that pose, looking smug and mischeivious and excited and so utterly LOVELY. And everyone else would be backing away, because Dead Leaves Vynes (according to the Aywapedia) stink. And then she'd move, crunch, realize that she'd left behind leaf bits, and NOT lose her balance in her rush to clean it up like the other pose makes her look like she would. C:

I love everything about it. Vynes are my favorite pet and I'm tickled to see this redraw. I suppose the detailed flowers and leaves are my favorite part and the eyes, oh and the teeth. Thank you for making the feet smaller:)

Love the new Vyne. The pose is fluid and more life-like compared to the old one. They now look as though they have a personality. The details on the plants are amazing and that mischievous smile is just too cute! This new design has tempted me to start collecting Vynes along with my Melos.

I love the expression, it's really sly. 8D Im so happy it matches the other pets now, with the shading and lineart etc. Somehow it makes me think "danger! do not touch!" D:

My favorite thing about the new Vyne is it's pose. It's eyes are simple contemplating how to get revenge. Revenge you ask? Why, because not enough people loved the vynes before and now! HAH! Now everyone loves these vynes. Well! The new vynes are not so easy to forgive and forget all the transgressions placed upon it's kind: the rogue zaps, the trade fodder, the guinea pig for your random potions! NO MORE! Now the vynes are simple adorable and cute (and that's what they want you to think) while they merely wait for their chance to strike back with revenge. And the only hint to this will be the gleam in their eyes....

I like how the the new version kept the essentials of the old Vyne, the claws, the flowers near the tail, the vining parts. What I find exciting is that it no longer seems flat or two dimensional. The flowers near the tail base and the leaves/feathers there seem to be closer to me, the end of the tail further away. The tip of the tail instead of being a triangle is almost a feathery leaf. Now for the mane and tendrils. I love the swooshy feel of them. They have come alive and seem to move on their own. Plus I think it is looking at me.
