Hm, maybe. It's hard to visualize what you're talking about. Will users get to design the things themselves, like banners?

Sure =O I wasn't sure if it should be text ads or banner ads xD It's possible to have both? Text ads for BP or banner ads for GP? i'm thinking forums is the best place to put that idea, or maybe the "Logged in" page, etc

Yeah...the only thing I wouldn't like about the idea of users designing their own banners is that some of the ones on dA and wajas weren't exactly...aesthetically pleasing, but I supposed if they paid for it in GP in a subscription sort of way, they would have earned the right.

Eh... Ads annoy the crap out of me offsite, and they'll be just as annoying here. If people want to advertise their stuff that badly, why not make a forum thread like everyone else?
If it does go through though... can you draw the line at animation? Banner ads are okay I suppose, but animated ones make me want to punch something :\

Sounds like if it was bought with GP it'd be a good way to help support aywas, but at the same time it might look annoying...
