Official Silver Artists

Have a snazzy Silver Custom Crystal and want to commission a site artist but not sure how to go about it?
This guide has all the information you need!

Please note that this is not a comprehensive guide to all facets of SCCs and SCC commissions, but only ones done by site artists.

Users with a Silver Custom Crystal (or Shattered Silver Custom Crystal) can request one of the following artists to make their unique Pet image if they do not want to supply their own art or pay separately for a commission from another artist. Note that this is ONLY for completely unique images, not editing linearts or recoloring any linearts (including official Aywas bases like the Melo and existing silver bases).

So, you have a SCC and have chosen your artist. What now?

Step #1 - Check the status of the artist! Statuses on this page will either be set to Closed, Open, or Check Profile.

Step #2 - If the artist is open, contact them to see if they are comfortable with taking your commission. If they agree, send the SCC to Erienne (#17) along with a note detailing which artist you selected. Eri will then confirm the commission status with the artist and work on your image will begin.

Note: You may NOT commission an official silver artist without sending the crystal in first. If you commission one of these artists in an official capacity without having the crystal, your image will be confiscated.

Step #3 - After your artist completes your request, contact Erienne (#17) so that your artist can get paid for their awesome work and your new Pet can be uploaded!

User Quick FAQ

Q: Can I commission an official artist privately if I pay with my own funds?
A: You sure can--if they agree, of course!

Q: How long can I expect to wait for my image to be finished?
A: SCC artists must abide by the one-month rule unless they make other arrangements with you, or make it clear that the wait will be longer.

Q: My artist finished my image and I'm super happy with it! What now?
A: PM Eri (#17) with the image so she can upload it and pay your artist! Let her know if you want a new pet or not and what gender you'd prefer.

Q: I am having a problem with my commission. What should I do?
A: Ideally, contact Eri (#17) to help you mediate and resolve the situation.

Q: Can I apply to become a SCC artist?
A: We are not currently accepting applications, sorry! If/when we are in need of more, an announcement will be made in the news.

Q: Are Silver artists also Platinum artists?
A: By default, official silver artists take SCC commissions but are not necessarily on the PBC team. However, PBC artists can take on commissions in an official silver artist capacity if they desire. Many PBC artists who welcome SCC commissions have requested to be listed on this page.

Q: I would like my examples or status changed. How do I do that?
A: PM Eri (#17) and she'll take care of it for you!

Q: I am having a problem with a commission(er). What should I do?
A: Ideally, contact Eri (#17) to help you mediate and resolve the situation.

Q: My commissioner told me they sent you the SCC. Can I begin work?
A: If you do not receive a confirmation message from Eri, please contact her first to double check that the crystal arrived safely before starting the commission.

Q: I finished my commission and my customer is happy with it! What now?
A: You can either wait for Eri to contact you, or PM her. Either way, she will let you know when you have been paid for your work!
